Slightly hard to find upstairs in what looks like an Apartment building, the ladies serving at The taste were helpful and the food was generic bhutanese tourist dishes - thouse the potatoes in cheese sauce were the highlight!
We went there for evening snacks. The place is small. The service is good. The snacks and the tea we had were good. Their local tea variant called Suja was very good. The food price is low.

This lovely cafe within the Bhutan Suites Hotel prepares some seriously good Bhutanese cuisine. The staff is friendly and courteous, the surroundings pleasant, but the star here is definitely the food. Delicious.KuzuzangpolaThank you so much for your kind words! Very tasty food, wide variety (chicken with peppers - something I will always remember) and most of all, great service. Premisses are very clean. Lovely, very hospitable manager. The restaurant was not very busy when I visited, thus was privileged to be served by the chef herself. I had lunch as part of my Bhutan tour package and can only recommend this place.

There are not many Chinese eateries in Bhutan. This, to my opinion, is the best in town. The Malaysian chef of this Restaurant also brings in the typical Malaysian Chinese favor. Great experience. Very good meal!

This is quite smart restaurant in the middle of the city. The decor is very neat and tidy and thre is a pleasant and friendly feel about the place. I noticed that there were locals eating there, not just foreigners, which is aleways a good sign. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. The food was a mixture of local and other more westernised dishes. Everything we had was tasty and really enjoyable.Prices were reasonable for a good quality place.Well reommended.

My guide recommended I eat here and order the yak ribs and I am so glad I did, it was the best meal of my trip by far. The restaurant is a casual pub which I enjoyed. I would definitely eat here again and I would order the yak ribs.
