We took the English speakers tour which was comprehensive and informative. The Mosque is truly remarkable in size and beauty. The adjacent buildings and waterfront provide a complimentary backdrop. The museum is modest and provides some interesting information worth seeing. Can’t miss this if you’re in Casablanca.

A camel ride into the Sahara sand dunes - what more can I say. We took a 4x4 to the edge of the dunes where we transferred to camels for a 30 minute ride into the dunes. We dismounted and then climbed to the dune top from where we could see the setting sun as well as watch other tourists coming in camel-back.
The camel ride itself is unique. Even though the camel is initially reclining on it's stomach, climbing into the saddle is not all that easy. Then there is the multi-step process by which they get up which rocks you far forward and backward a couple of times. Their walking gait is quite bouncy, Finally the get up process is reversed for the animal to get down and the rider dismount.
One word of caution - be aware that like all outdoor attractions weather has a major influence. Even though it rarely rains, haze will strongly affect the beauty of the sunset and the night time view of the sky. Even without these two items, the trip is well worth it.

Odd that TripAdvisor regards the city tram system as a tourist attraction. I suppose it's an interesting way to get around, but it doesn't exactly take a scenic route.

Casablanca's Habous quarter was built in the 1930s by the French, so it is no surprise that it features a wonderful mix of stunning and beautiful French and Moroccan architecture, complete with numerous things to see and do from old mosques, shops, markets, trendy restaurants, museums and a palace. It is perfect for both the traditionalists and modernists. The Quartier Habous has an amazing array of shops selling products such as: jewellery, clothes, leather products, souvenirs, spices and dried fruits, carpets, rugs and many more items. There are also bargains to be netted, and trendy restaurants and museums, mosques and a palace to visit. Quartier Habous is the heart of Casablanca with amazing characters, shops, markets, restaurants and museums and an amazing night life. When visiting Casablanca this place is a must so that you can feel and witness the wonderful and vibrant life here. Me, my wife and our daughter had an amazing experience wandering around this incredible and full of life place.

This museum was named after the businessman and art collector who died in 2001. The Abderrahman Slaoui museum was opened in 2012 and has collections of the late businessman's old posters, Moroccan jewels in gold, works of the figurative painter Mohamed Ben Ali R'iati, crystal objects and many more fascinating and interesting collections. Me, my wife and our daughter had a good time visiting this interesting museum.

The Morocco Mall is the second largest shopping centre in Africa. It was opened in 2011 and was designed by architect Davide Padoa of Design International. The mall features a massive 1,000,000 litre aquarium that contains over 40 different species of fish. The mall has many of the world's best known brands and good restaurants and cafes. Me, my wife and our daughter had a great time wandering around this vast shopping centre and buying gifts for the family.

A wonderful walk seeing the seaside of Casablanca and a great place to people watch. Reminded me of South Beach Moroccan style with lots of interesting people, great restaurants, including a McDonalds, hotels, clubs, food stands, etc. Just loved taking this walk on a beautiful sunny day. Do this to get a flavor of Morocco.
