Trekking Toubkal Ascent 2 Days and 1 Night Climb the highest peak in Morocco & North Africa, jebel Toubkal or Mount Toubkal with its summit at 4167m, it is an adventure of life time, takes only 2 days & 60km away from Marrakech to Imlil valley (called small chamonix) the starting point of the trek. Trekking. Gazing at the High Atlas Mountains from afar--or even from eye level with Imlil as a base--cannot do your experience with the beautiful and exotic Moroccan landscapes justice. With countless guides, both private and group, available for expeditions, it is nearly not worth the trip to Imlil without the trek. And the pinnacle--both figuratively and literally--of High Andes hiking is the 13,670-foot peak of Mt. Toubkal.

Inclusions: Breakfast, Lunch, Lunch, Dinner, Private transportation, Accommodation for 1 night in refuge, Included mule ,cook , water and sleeping bags during the trek

Exclusions: Airline Tickets to / from Marrakech.

I am no stranger to walking tours and similar sort of organized tours. But this one is extra special. Mustapha is an authority on his people’s culture. Born and bred in the Imli village, he talks about his culture and his people with passion. The tour itself is superbly organized (and excellent value for time and money!). The camel riding experience was fantastic. I also chanced upon the ‘camels’ hotel’ and I can say from the state of their accommodation that they are indeed very well looked after. The trek up Mount Atlas was an experience of a lifetime. The views were stunning, made better only by some areas covered in snow. And it was a real bonus that we were a part of a fantastic group. I was with my three teenage children and the group made them feel very much welcomed, engaging them in interesting conversations. One of the tour’s highlights was the majestic waterfall, with the clearest water dropping onto rocks of various shapes and sizes, it is a wonderful experience for all the senses. But what really made the tour special is Mustapha’s family preparing a culinary feast for all ten of us. It was home-made food at its best, prepared and served with utmost care. I will remember this experience for a long time.

Booked this before we left ireland and all further communication was done through e-mails, we went to Djemaa El Fna (square of the dead) at 7.15am as requested pick up was slightly later mabye 10 or 15 mins a mini bus arrived and we and the other people got onboard , some people had already been picked up at other points, we headed out of Marrakech and drove for about 40 mins where we stopped at a service station for people to use the loos , smoke or have a coffee, after this we travelled for another few hours until we reached the mountains and greated by our berber guide Yousef and the walking commenced , top tip, trainers are a must for comfort and grip as you will not be walking on level footpaths but a dusty stoney hilly terrain, all the while you will hear the history from your guide of both the location and berber peoples history , you will stop in a local village to experience the sights and sounds , after another short walk you will come to a high vantage point where the view of the water falls is beautiful , take some photos , have a drink and rest for 20mins or so for the final trek to the falls themselves, once there you can elect to cross the water by boat for a few euro of skip across the stepping stones , we had a lunch here and spent an hour or so at the falls , the ascent was nearly all steps uphill and truth be told the hike took it out of my 56 year old legs but if your reasonably fit and take your time its no problem , we stopped off to feed and get pics of the monkeys that roam the slopes, short hop then back to the minibus and the journey back to marrakech, long old trip there and back but definately one to tick off the bucket list....

Thank you for a wonderful tour to Toubkal. Everything was great from start to finish. When choosing a tracking company, you immediately won over with the simplicity and capacity of the answers. We received a transfer from Marrakech and back, an overnight stay in the village of Imlil, delicious food, an overnight stay in refuge, attentive and kind guide Hussein, man with mule, the necessary equipment. By the way, the tajine at the Imlil hotel was the tastiest we have tasted in Morocco. Thanks to the chef. Thanks to the guide Hussein, we, having no trekking experience, were able to climb Toubkal and are very happy to make our dream come true. I recommend these guys to everyone. Will remember the beauty of your nature for a long time. Good luck with your business!

Our day with Mohamed was better than expected. It was a really beautiful and special experience. Mohamed was a great guide who organised this trip perfectly. His mother is one of the best cooks around and the lunch was just delicous. The perfect ending of the day was watching the sunset in the desert.
