Restaurant De Vina Indomita

Viña Indómita's restaurant strives to give all its recipes a sophisticated flair and to offer a culinary experience well beyond just sitting and eating. Our recipes are prepared with specially selected ingredients of the highest quality under the expert supervision of Chef Tomás Olivera. We also offer a wide selection of wines from the restaurant's own cellar and vineyards, which allows our patrons to savor a delicious beef tenderloin with a side of potatoes and asparagus, paired with Zardoz, a wine with a beautiful red color with brick-like nuances and aromas of violets and red fruits. Combining youth, experience, and knowledge, our personable team will assist you with your dining choices and offer expert advice on pairings. Set on a hillside, the restaurant offers a panoramic view of the vineyards that our patrons can enjoy at the same time as a delicious appetizer of scallops, pebre salsa, and flat bread paired with a Sauvignon Blanc with lemon and grapefruit aromas. Viña Indómita's is the go-to restaurant where to take your foreign friends to discover Chile's wide wine selection. It is also a place of choice for a romantic celebration as the inviting atmosphere, the excellent food and our superior wines will turn dining into a memorable experience.

A gem in Casablanca. Has great sweeping views of the Casablanca valley and serves fresh plates of the region and past. The chupe de jaiba is one of the best dishes I have had in my frequent travels to Chile. For my tastes you can...MoreThank you for rating your visit with 5 stars! We love to read that your visit to the vineyard has been wonderful both for the wines, food and the landscapes of the valley. We are waiting for you at a new opportunity!

Macerado

Although it's several month ago we ate twice in this restaurant I am sure it's still worth visiting. The food was excellent and so were the wines. The staff was very friendly and ambitious. We visited Macerado during the week so it was not very crowdy. Against that we had some nice conversations, in english. In the weekends it can be very crowed. They are not the cheapest restaurant in Casablanca, but in our opinion highly recommended!

I am being generous with my review because we enjoyed the overall experience despite a few snags. It's a beautiful place with good off-road parking. Service is very friendly. We were disappointed that there was no rose (rosado) wine available, but enjoyed glasses of excellent sauvignon blanc and cabernet sauvignon with our salad and fish. The staff actually understood my request to have the "rock fish" cooked rare, but it arrived too rare (because it was conger, which is a tricky fish to cook perfectly). The second try was much better. It's a relaxing place with the good bagnos. What more could you ask for a light lunch while on the road?

Tanino

Restaurant Tanino's menu is prepared by our Chef, Alvaro Larraguibel together with Grant Phelps, our Winemaker Chief , who seek the perfect balance between our gastronomy and our excellent Casas del Bosque wines, using only fresh ingredients coming from local farmers to achieve preparations plenty of flavors, textures, and at the same time in harmony with our wines.

Breathtaking enviroment sorrounded by beautiful vineyards.
Tanino literally cooks for its world-winning wines and they do a good job offering a gourmet menu based on local products and fresh ingridients.
Kind of overprized in my opinion. Concerning staff, service should be better and members more kind.
A nice enotourism experience overall. It is worth a visit or more.
Once there, do not miss Casa Mirador, you'll be surprise and even come back for lunch or simply a glass of wine.
Reservations are mandatory if you want your table guaranteed.

House Casa del Vino

We were in the Valparaiso/Casablanca area touring for a week. We're real foodies who enjoy great food, wine and dining experiences. The food at House was by far the BEST we had tasted all week. There were five of us and we ordered at least (8) items for a tapas style lunch. The beef tartar was ridiculous and the octopus was tender and yummy! It was all good! VIVA House!

Casa Botha

Had lunch here in December when touring the Casablanca wine region with Tom Taylor of Bodega Wine Tours. The restaurant looks nondescript from the outside but inside you will find the most warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner, David, actually kept coming by to sit with us and visit. Service was quick and helpful. Food is all "homemade" with local ingredients. I had gnocchi with mushroom sauce (very rich). My hubby had fish with potatoes. We tried many different wines. A wine reviewer was visiting that day so we met many winemakers and got to sample their wares. This is a warm, welcoming, friendly place.

We lunched here on our second day staying at the adjacent hotel after a pleasant morning trekking around 8km with our guide into the hills. The restaurant is set in a wonderful location and the food matched this. I had octopus to start whilst my wife had gazpacho, both of which were excellent. We than both chose abalone & asparagus risotto for our main, which was divine.
An all round superb experience - highly recommended to fellow travellers.

Restauran los Vinedos de Parra

Reviewed By avcapobi - Santiago, Chile

After Reading the TripAdvisor reviews and seeing the pictures we decided to try this restaurant. I honestly don't know where those pictures are from, I can only say that only one of them is actually of Vinedos de Parra in Casablanca. We found the same address on our GPS that the review stated, with the same name of the restaurant written on the wall, but it's a far, far cry from the elegant restaurant depicted! It was very simple, basic, mediocre food and certainly not worth returning. Everything about the restaurant is typical of a local, small, "picada" of a small town, but don't expect anything near what the photos show. Nothing fancy here, just overpriced very average food on old plates, cheap silverware and glasses from a pisco company. We tried four different dishes and none of us wanted to finish any of them. Beware.

To tell the truth Rio Tinto Casablanca was like walking into a supermarket of Chilean wine in the heart of the Casablanca Valley [with all the vineyards in one place]. Some would call it a tourist trap with souvenirs and other gods for sale. We did not eat here.

Macerado en Vinamar

This was our final stop on the Bodega wine tour of Casablanca Valley. Lovely mansion building, we had a private tasting downstairs first and the high light was the Vina Mar Reserva Special 2014 Chardonnay. Upstairs in the restaurant we had a well presented amuse bouche, I had locos' (abalone-yum, quite tender) and for memory venison with appaeling presentation. Overall a very good meal. The service was fine, can't comment on the price but was included in the price of the wine tour, which was excellent value.
