Nea Moudania (often referred to as Moudania, which is the name of the municipal unit the town belongs to) is the seat of the municipality of Nea Propontida, Chalkidiki, Greece and its main town. The town is located 60 km south of Thessaloniki and is considered to be the financial and commercial center of the regional unit of Chalkidiki. It was built after 1922 by Greek refugees from Anatolia who wanted to give the settlement the name of their hometown (now Mudanya, Turkey), hence the addition of the word nea, which means new in Greek. Nea Moudania hosts the Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture Technology [1] of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. The town also features a harbor which serves as Thessaloniki's adjuvant.

Cozy place in quite area with music from the sea waves which actually let you enjoy the company & the excellent food.Spacious balcony on the sand (the sea literally ends in front of your feet) & a unique detailed decoration with vintage furniture, nonidentical chairs & tables & modern glass settings.Well presented traditional sea food dishes, smack & very tasty & few innovative ones served from friendly & smiling service & as a tsipouro lover I enjoyed (for first time) tsipouro with Kozaniâs autumn crocus â strong & really exceptional Last but not least were in the end of the meal the offered desert & the surprising low receipt. Worth visit it equipped with an umbrella & beach towel & determine to combine tiffin - siesta - swim & dinner before the return to Thessaloniki

The waiters treat us very very good,the food is great and the servings are big,a very soft grilled octopus,wonderful grilled and fried callamari and very good prices! Being in Nea Moudania I must eat at this taverna. The food is excellent and tasty.The waiters very quick, polite and smiling.This time I took Sardines, Mackarel, grilled Mushrooms, Pommes Frites and Mussels Saganaki + a greek salad, and I really enjoyed this meal. A tasty white wine completed this lunch.2 delicious cakes were offered from the taverna.This great lunch at a very reasonable price. Next time in Nea Moudania I'll be there again.

We had two amazing meals at this restaurant. Lots of lovely seafood, Greek wine and even homemade Lemoncello. The people who run this restaurant have everything right and make each guest feel special. I would recommend everyone to have at least one meal at this authentic Greek restaurant. Thanks to the owners who made our holiday complete!
