Nea Moudania (often referred to as Moudania, which is the name of the municipal unit the town belongs to) is the seat of the municipality of Nea Propontida, Chalkidiki, Greece and its main town. The town is located 60 km south of Thessaloniki and is considered to be the financial and commercial center of the regional unit of Chalkidiki. It was built after 1922 by Greek refugees from Anatolia who wanted to give the settlement the name of their hometown (now Mudanya, Turkey), hence the addition of the word nea, which means new in Greek. Nea Moudania hosts the Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture Technology [1] of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. The town also features a harbor which serves as Thessaloniki's adjuvant.

Indoor and outdoor Seating, great views. Chairs could be more comfortable, and service could be faster during peak times but the food is generally above average. Go for any of the fresh fish and seafood dishes.

I stayed in nea moudania for a couple of months and I went to this restaurant several times! Nice location by the sea, very friendly staff and as for the food it was always delicious! Keep up the good work!!! Hope to come back again in the future!

Lovely food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with live music. The grilled octopus was stood out, excellent taste and texture. Highly recommend.

Pelagos Restaurant was on our way to the downtown, so we stopped once for the lunch. We ordered Cretan salad, chicken souvlaky and Retsina for drink. The service was on time and nice. The food was OK, I noticed the very tender meat and tasty salad. The Terrace of the restaurant is close to the sea, with a nice view. Was a very good option for lunch.

We visited this Bistrot in February 2015. It was the only place that was crowded at that time. When we entered we understood why. The feeling inside was really cozy, the decoration inspiring and the music relaxing but not sleepy. We ordered pastas and oriental salad which were all very tasty and the portions quite big. The only dish we did not like was the mushroom soup which was very thin and sparse and the mushrooms were not fresh but canned. As we were having our dinner one musician with saxophone started playing live music. That was a real and very pleasant surpise! The saxophonist was amazing and made our dinner outstanding. Congratulations!

Service is good, food is delicious, open space that we like to be be here.
Sea bas was delicious and well cooked. You are not close to next table. There was a live greek music which was nice. Don't expect very luxurious but you will like the food. We all were happy

Popped down to this great bar while staying at the Ikos Oceania, if cool music good food and a beautiful beach setting are your thing look no further.... It appeared to be well supported by the locals we would happily return

As we enjoyed the good time in Nea Moudania, we stopped here couple of times for having the lunch.
Marina Restaurant is located close to the sea side. You can take a table inside or outside, under a shady roof. Obviously in July outside seats are more convenient. The menu is in Greek, English and some other languages according to the origins of the tourists most often coming here. The offer is quite reach: starters, soups, salads, grilled and cocked dishes, sweets. We tried something out of almost everything and we haven’t been disappointed. It’s a nice place, good service, good English and good prices. So this is a good place at least for lunch, according to our experience.

This is where the locals come for fresh fish and good salads. Reasonable choice for non fish eaters as well. starters/main course and drinks for 3 persons just €53.00 - very reasonable
