I go there quite often with my friends for the pretty good traditional food and mostly for the area and the views, but there are a few 'romanian things' I really dislike about this place. First of all when we make a reservation, we always get the worst table and people who don't make Reservations and go random, get the best ones (if they get them). This happened more than once. Then we have the really bad and really slow service.. This is a constant thing. Last time I went there I had 'soup buffet' and they tried to charge me extra 50% because I wanted some more soup, but it was 'buffet'.. Then there's a poor variety on the menu, but this might not be a problem if you don't go here often. All in all it's acceptable and the best place around due to the lack of options.. :)

The Emerald saloon with a capacity of 102 people, the Lion saloon with a capacity of 108 people and the Rose saloon with a capacity of 20 people are equipped with a Steinbach piano, stages for the orchestra, tables with upholstered chairs, Swarovski chandeliers, sound system and air conditioning.

As i said in the title it is the best place to drink a coffee. Prices are reasonable, great service, staff speaks good English. They have really good donuts (papanasi) with cherry jam and cream, good pizza, and also ice cream. There is a nice Terrace and during summer you can stay outside. Free wi-fi.

The place is packed in the evening and quiet at lunch. Pizza was good. The sausage and cheese "master platter" was outstanding with a bevy of the different local sausages available. They have "suica" available for after dinner which is local homemade brandy that all Romanian households/restaurants typically make. Been here several times and the quality is consistent and the service acceptable. Similar to so many things in Romania, this is an incredibly affordable country to visit!

The food is amazingly good, the options are many and from traditional or international cuisine - mostly italian. The Romania food is great, the spices are perfectly used and the cook is amazing. The service very friendly and nice.

Atmosfera îmbietoare, servirea impecabilă și nu în ultimul rând, meniul bogat in mâncăruri tradiționale preparate după rețete specifice Transilvaniei din ingrediente 100% naturale sunt doar o parte din atuurile care ne recomandă. Folosim ingrediente locale, atent selecționate de la producătorii locali. Mâncărurile noastre sunt proaspăt gătite zilnic, fără să folosim semipreparate. Odată ce v-ați așezat la masă, puteți comanda bucate alese mâncăruri tradiționale românești gătite ca la mama acasă. Restaurantul pensiunii reprezintă o alegere optimă pentru diverse petreceri sau aniversări, organizate la scală mică. Vă doriți o nuntă mică și discretă, realizată într-un cadru intim? Restaurantul nostru ofera un spațiu perfect pentru un număr de 34 de persoane. Oaspetii nostri se vor putea de asemenea bucura de privelistea si aerul curat de munte servind masa si pe terasa pensiunii sau in foisor. Recomadam oaspetilor care nu sunt cazati sa faca o rezervare.Va asteptam la Colt de Rai!
