It is well worth the dive to the dam if you have a few hours to spare. The views form the lookout are great and the walk across the dam is interesting.

Botanic Gardens

Although Emerald isn't a big town, and we found the Gardens by driving around, they aren't well sign posted. We enjoyed our stroll around ...is excellent for the walkers, runners and fitness nuts, but felt the whole gargens are over rated. It is a work in progress with a lot more to be done....certainly has potential.

Emerald Art Gallery

Reviewed By Mark G

I was surprised that there was only one room of art, although some of it was really good. There were a number of local pieces and results of local mentoring; I think the pieces on display would vary based on what was being taught.
