It is one of the oldest towns in the country, and it has a population of 11,823 inhabitants as of March 2014. The first documentation about it being a parish dates back to 1436 dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. The island of Filfla is administratively a part of the town. The best risotto I have ever eaten was here. The staff was fantastic and the ambience is very good and calm with a sea view. The cost price quality was justified. This was recommended by a local. We couldn't get a booking as they were apparently full, but we decided to turn up and try our luck. Fortunately we were able to join a communal / shared table - which was relaxed and buzzy. Had a delicious pizza with truffle sauce - yum!! Fast professional service, nice decor, great tastes, fair prices.

This was not my first time here and they never disappointThe food is typical of Malta- there is a lot of it! Here at Browns they make it delicious whether it spaghetti, salmon, veal or rib eye.Would highly recommend Browns and the Waterfront is a tremendous location

First time here and was impressed since place was jam packed.Quite modern and cool.We had 2 vintage burgers, they were excellent. Kids had chicken nuggets and spaghetti carbonara. Honestly had better carbonaras.On the day service was extremely slow but as I said place was jam packed...Would still love to return maybe when place is a bit quieter...

I came here twice while spending a week working in malta. It does not look like much of a place from the outside. But donât be fooled. There is a great Maltese menu and it is very popular. Mostly with local people. The fish soup was amazing and I had a mixed plate of malta specialities including rabbit and horse. All great. The second time I had to have the fish soup again- it was so great. Then had a rib eye. I would recommend but be sure to have time on your hands. Service is variable. The first time was great. The second was terribly slow. Glad you enjoyed your food. About the service I am very sorry but as I persoanlly explained that day there was lack of staff due to health reasons. We had no control. Hopefully next time you will enjoy your meal as a whole

The chain makes really good pizza, but for sure that this one has the worst service in Malta. The pizzas always come wrong, we call making the order and still have to wait so they can make another pizza... Awful! The worst service Iâve seen. We never going to eat there againPlease accept our apologies for the above.
