This is such a hidden gem and offers an amazing menu to suit all tastes. It was hard to decide as it all looked so good. I had the burger which was huge and the best burger Iâve ever tasted! Portion sizes are really generous and very reasonably priced. Eric the owner is super friendly and couldnât be more helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again when back in Malta. This is a must visit!!

We paid a second visit to Fredy's Diner, which we knew would be great from our 1st visit, but it was so much more this time.We started with 2 cocktails, which being a true cocktail fan I thought they would be regular restaurant cocktails, but these cocktails exceeded that - these were on par with cocktails you'd get at a mixology bar... expert flavours, strong and with a hint of originality. Loved them.Moving on to the starters, we had the chicken drumsticks starters. Crunchy and juicy goodness, served quite spicy and in abundant portions. For mains we had the beef brisket and the pork ribs... Wow how can I begin.... both dishes were succulent, tender (I mean incredibly tender, food breaks off at the touch of your fork)... and the taste just absolutely divine. The portions were massive .. I mean we are big eaters and we already had to take a break after the (large!) starters, but holy wow, it was impressive how we both were completely stuffed from our mains yet still had leftovers...We made some room to share a dessert... the white chocolate cake with pistacchio ice cream. This completely blew me away...In all honestly before ordering I was considering changing the pistacchio to chocolate as I wasn't a big fan... but THIS... The warm soft cake so sweet, with the green crunchy paste drizzled on top, with the cold ice cream slowly melting... it was insanely good!The service, all through the night was top of the notch, they were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, giving their suggestions, making us feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was great, music at a perfect level to enjoy and conversate.The price for all this, just 70eur between 2!! Fredy's, keep this up... really 10/10. I like the increased portions!Visitors, please do not wait to go. Amazing. You will not be disappointed!

Went to this restaurant whilst on holiday in Valletta. We did book by email a week before but the restaurant didn't have any trace of this, despite emailing us a confirmation, which was a tad disappointing, but they managed to find us a table. We arrived at the hard rock at 6 in the morning hoping to get some breakfast. I ordered a full English and had to wait around 20 minutes (Staff late I think) When it arrives it consisted of 3 rashers of very cold crispy bacon two slightly overcooked eggs, 2 cold burnt sausages 1 half an uncooked tomato a piece of mushroom I could of used as a squash ball an cold baked beans.I called the waitress over and explained that the food was cold and the baked beans uncooked. She picked the plate up and disappeared of to the kitchen. Upon return there was a fresh plate of food that was similar to the previous offerings I tried the beans and this time I found that several of them had been warmed the sausages that whilst still burnt were slightly warmer the eggs were also a little warmer but as it had all been served on a cold plate this warmth did not last long. Our flight was due so I decided to leave it and leave it and go and put it down to experience. So be warned if you go there for breakfast request the bacon how you like it and ask for it to be served hot not cold.Hi daves- b4Thank you for your review.We're sorry that we did not manage to meet your expectations. We got two Irish burgers and they were excellent. Burgers are big and worth a good portion of chips. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, overall a very good experience.
