I'm sorry but I'm not so enthusiastic about this place. It feels more like a snack bar than a restaurant. However... at 5€ for a not-so-great glass of red wine, almost 20€ for a not-so-sophisticated pasta dish,...prices are definitely at mid-class-restaurant level and far too high for the quality and quantity of food offered. At a price of almost 20€ for a pasta dish, one would at least expect enough parmiggiano cheese to come with it. Sadly, if you want cheese you need to specifically ask a waitress... who then grates a very tiny amount of cheese directly on your dish and makes you feel bad if you dare ask for more. For christ sake, it's cheese not gold ! The semi-open kitchen lacks proper air extraction equipment so be prepared to have your clothes smell a bit when you leave. Maybe it's best to take-away rather than eat in.

Quiet on a Tuesday evening, and our hostess gave us plenty of attention, suggesting dishes and describing them to help the choice process. Swordfish carpaccio, scampi and antipasto Umbro all excellent. The preferred white wine was unavailable, but the hostess suggested an alternative which was close in taste and very nice. The same thing happened with the choice of red later. For the mains, lemon veal, sea bass were very tasty. Only small comment: could do with vegetables to be added. All food was exceptional.

We went there several times. The food is quite good, service is sloppy and they are not always very friendly but the one thing that is really disturbing is the noise.

We had noticed this new establishment in the centre of Haacht. Nice looking old style interior, old photos of the village centre against the wall, a very large backroom for diners with a very tasteful interior all in old style. We were there for drinks, just to get a feel of the place.What a disappointment this was. Extremely unfriendly waitress and patron(ness?) We didn't feel welcome and will most certainly not come back for dining. What a shame, so much promise and possibilities, and such a bad implementation.

If it were not for the tzaziki, we would have never guessed this is a Greek restaurant. No typical music or table cloths, napkins, none of the above. Actually it's more of a Belgian restaurant with very nice grilled meat. Some pieces were a littke too rare for me, but the side dishes (patatas bravas/tzaziki/warm vegetables) made it complete. The owner told us they will change the concept to a tapa restaurant and that's a great idea! So you can share your food with your friends and loved ones.

Finally we found a real (Sicilian) Italian restaurant that doesn't alter the dishes to suit Belgian tastes.Enthousiast chef and crew, impressive winelist, menu geared towards fish an daily specials explained in detail.They buy their tuna and pesce spada wholesome: almost better than in Italy as a matter of fact.I cannot think of a better one in a radius of 50 km!
