Located in the heart of the beautiful Nagano mountain range. Here is one of the best places for powder snow in the world. The perfect place for ski enthusiasts because of the 9 ski resorts all within a 1 hour drive from the lodge such as Nozawa Onsen, Myoko Kogen, Shiga kogen and many others. White Tree Lodge is located a easy 3 minute walk to Tangram ski circus which is connected to Madarao mountain.Tangram ski circus is a great for tree runs andto get away from the crowded slopes. We are Kiwi and Japanese couple, we aim to be your second home!

Reviewed By 872h_l_nesThe white tree lodge is a great place to stay. Near from Tangram ski resort, you can go skiing by foot or car and stay in a calm and peaceful place. It is perfectly clean and warm, the log house is incredible! Very warm welcome and helpful owners!

A Pleasant Stay with a Home Feeling
Reviewed By toughnoodleWe booked 3 night stays at this family run Inn but over-estimated the travel time between Nagano station and the nearest train station to the Inn. So we have no choice but request the owner to drive us back-and-forth to the station everyday under very a snowy condition and slippery road. Though amidst a high volume of occupants and works, the family member had put out great effort to accommodate our 'special' needs and return with a pleasant smile. And they even cooked us a very late meals upon our delayed arrival. So thank you!

Reviewed By honnmachi5スキー旅行に2泊しました。 ご夫婦がきめ細やかに経営されている感じ。 お料理大満足です。本当にどれも美味しくて。 ゲレンデ隣接のホテルも便利ですが、特に年末年始混み合うので、ゆったり美味しいお食事を頂けたのが何より有難かったです。暖炉もすごく暖かみがあって、公共スペースのインテリアもとても気に入りました。ビートルズファンのオーナーさんでしょうか。 音楽もお好きなのか、レストランではオーディオが充実していて、食事中の選曲も良かったです。 近くのホテルの温泉にもすぐ行けるし、スキー旅行には本当に贅沢な素敵な時間を過ごさせて頂きました。ワインも、自家製の野沢菜も美味しかったです?

てきぱきしたおかみさんが切り盛りの宿
Reviewed By うぇぼーん他の方も書いていますが、お風呂はジャグジーで色もカラフルに切り替え可能。 貸切なので、家族も利用しやすいです。 部屋は和室で、新しさはないが広さは十分です。少しほこりっぽかったかも。 ご飯はお櫃ででてきて、量も十分で、手作りのブルーベリーのゼリーもおいしかったです

最悪でした。。
Reviewed By たっこ2015写真では清潔感あふれる素敵なペンションというイメージだったので期待して行きましたが、中に入った途端、あまりのギャップに驚きました。雑然とした室内、壁紙が破れたままの洗面台、汚れの酷いトイレ、浴槽のフタはバラバラに破れたものを使用。。それから石油ストーブの不完全燃焼の臭いが部屋中に充満していて、すぐに気分が悪くなり、２泊の予定を１日キャンセルして翌日宿を変えました。前日に伝えたのにキャンセル料を全額取られ、ビックリしました。ホントに最悪でした。唯一食事の量が多かったのだけは良かった点です。おかみさん、喋ってばかりいないで、少しは頑張って掃除してください。リピーターがいるのが不思議です。
