De opvolger van het fantastische van Rechteren valt tegen. De gebruikelijke (Italiaanse) gerechten. Niets bijzonders. Ondermaats zijn de bijgerechten: 1 klein bakje sla, 1 klein bakje witlof en 2 kleine bakjes friet om met z'n 4 te delen. Het cioccolato desert smaakte nergens naar. De huiswijn is erg slecht. Geen aanrader.

We eat here very regularly, at least monthly.This italian restaurant is an unexpected gem a bit hidden deep in the countryside of Drenthe. A nice farmhouse, surrounded by a terrace (partly covered) and a cosy restaurant are inside.It has a friendly atmosphere and also kind are welcome (some play attributes are in the garden.Especially the pizza's are fabulous, really the best you can find in Holland. The are always prepared with fresh ingredients in a woodfired oven and are of a grand size.Also the ice-deserts of also fresh onsite prepared ice are fingerlicking good.The staff is serving you quickly and is always friendly. This restaurant, that now exists about for 3 years is one of the best restaurant additions to the region.

We were on holiday in Holland and invited an old school friend to have Italian dinner that night. The interior is very nice and Italian style. It gives you a feeling you're in Italy. Mario himself is an ex collegue of my work in 1989. He and his wife were very warm and friendly. The lasagne, spaghetti, and ravioli were very delicious. With a good wine. If we're back in Holland we will come back to Mario. For sure!

Dit ijssalon wordt druk bezocht bij zonnig weer , logisch ook. Veel ijsvarianten en lekkere snacks, koffies, fris,.... Veel keuze van ijs, vlotte vriendelijke bediening. Ruime verbruikzaal. Niet te missen.

Een klein Italiaans restaurant aan nèt buiten het centrum van Dwingeloo. Het ziet er niet zo gezellig uit maar is wel netjes verzorgd. Bij het lezen van de kaart schrok ik want er stonden shoarma en andere oosterse gerechten ook op de kaart. En normaal gesproken loop ik dat soort gelegenheden als ik Italiaans wil eten voorbij. Maar de pizza die andere gasten hadden zagen er vertrouwd uit. We bestelden als voorafje geroosterd brood met roomboter en een Pizza en pittige Tagliatelle met zalm en een salade. En ja hoor, alles smaakte voortreffelijk. We kregen een ruim gevuld mandje met brood en boter. Misschien een hint om bij een bestelling gelijk zo'n mandje te serveren met voor ieder twee van die stukjes met wat roomboter. Nu was het behoorlijk veel voor ons tweeën, terwijl er bij de tagliatelle ook nog eens een mandje werd geserveerd wat mijns inziens niet echt nodig was. Het vertolkt jullie hartelijkheid nòg meer. En zoals gezegd de Pizza èn de Tagliatelle smaakte Prima. Als ik weer in de buurt kom gaan we zeker hier weer eten. Na afloop bleek dat de eigenaar/kok inderdaad van Egyptische afkomst was, maar z'n hele werkzame leven al Italiaans kookte

Na het eten en een bezoek aan de hunebedden nog een ijsje voor het slapen. Heerlijk van smaak en aardige meisjes die mij het gevoel gaven dat ik er welkom was ondanks het wat latere tijdstip.

I really shouldn't endorse this restaurant as I run the risk it's getting to famous :-) The food and ambiance is great, as a guest you 're treated as a guest not as a money machine. If you're lucky the boss will tell you stories about his hometown and country. It's great to be here.
