Nice Hotel
Reviewed By LimKahChuanWe wanted to catch the sunrise at the easternmost point of hokkaido, and chose this hotel. We chose a tatami room, and was fairly spacious. We had to leave the key with the counter if we were to go out (even when we woke up at 4+am). The town was pretty quiet, but there were a few eateries around the hotel. If you drive, the carpark is just right opposite the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style. You can also make your own katte don.

Home town decent hotel
Reviewed By FHN1968It's our third time visit. reasonable price and good sleep quality. Better chose ocean side room the view is superb. nearby there is seven eleven convienient store and ramen. Been here on January 2020.

Old Hotel in Need of Refurbishment
Reviewed By GlobeTrekker6This old hotel has a 70s-80s era feel to which is reflected in the dated interior furnishings both in the lobby and room furniture. There is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs (the first of which is very steep) to our room. The reception is on the second floor and the man working the front desk spoke very little English. We booked a non-smoking twin room, and specifically mentioned it to the only man working at the reception but upon checking in we found out that it was a smoking room with a huge ashtray on the coffee table. The room had a minor trace of smoke odor but as we were tired and only staying briefly we did not change rooms. There's a good possibility the other rooms may be smoking ones too. A set breakfast was available at the hotel cafe on the ground floor but we opted out from eating there. The beds were soft and sagging and needs replacing. Also the lighting in the room was too dim even with all the lights switched on. The attached bathroom is the tiniest one we have encountered amongst all the numerous hotels we have stayed in Japan and the rest of the world! It is so small to the extent that the toilet cubicle has to be set at an angle and the bathtub is shaped irregularly too in order to maximize the floor space. There was hardly any place to place toiletries on the bathtub or on the basin. The only positives of this hotel is the availability of reasonably fast wifi in the room and the close proximity to the JR train and bus stations. It will take you 5-6 minutes to walk to the stations from the hotel with luggage in tow. There is also a large supermarket and drugstore within a few minutes walk. The price we paid for our room was pricier compared to other hotels of higher standards in Japan and, in our opinion, not worth it considering what was offered. Perhaps there are not too many hotels in Nemuro, hence the opportunity for management to push up the prices. In conclusion, we find this hotel not meeting our standards, and for visitors on a longer stay in Nemuro, it is advisable to stay in newer and better quality hotels or ryokans in the area.

Reviewed By taka0918８月に２泊しました。根室市内にある、新しいゲストハウスです。スタッフの方がきさくに声をかけてくれて、根室の観光や見所などを教えてくれました。建物も新しく、快適に過ごすことができました。そして、何より朝食が美味しい！7700円(2泊)でこのような豪華な朝食を食べることができて、本当に良かった！北海道のゲストハウスは本当に外れがないくらい、どこも素晴らしかったです！

Bed so soft I couldn’t get up
Reviewed By celestaykWanted to give hotel 2 stars because the bed was too soft I almost missed my sunrise. Loved the bed. The hotel is old but still ok for me. The room was big enough and comfortable. They provided a fan which was thoughtful. Parking is free. Did not like the manual tap. Other than that I did not experience any upsetting thing during my one night stay here.

Reviewed By FarAway803324オーナーの人柄がよく、居心地がよかったので当初１泊の予定を２泊しました。滞在の快適度は一緒に泊まるほかの宿泊客によるかと思います。 私の時は工事関係の長期滞在の方々および自転車旅のお兄さん方と一緒だったのですが、キッチンもうまく交互に使えるように気を遣っていただけて助かりました。こればかりは運だと思います。 駐車場は別料金です。カード払い可能でした。お風呂が１つしかないので、近くの銭湯に行くことをおすすめします。４５０円と格安にもかかわらず露天風呂とサウナがあります。

Reviewed By tshumHotel is closed to the train station, good location. But the room is small and without aircon only heater. It was hot. Bed was so bad, it’s so old and the springs were popping up. It was so uncomfortable. Sure I won't come back again.
