Not what we expected!
Reviewed By Jomar2307We chose to stay here for one night travelling through Botswana from Zimbabwe to South Africa. On arrival at the gate we were 'greeted' by a very rude man and if we'd had a choice after a 7 hour drive we would have found an alternative. However we persevered and on finally gaining entry found the rest of the staff to be very friendly. The accommodation is very clean but more like a motel than a game lodge, with every room facing into the centre rather than out to the surroundings. We wanted to do a game drive but they weren't doing one that afternoon and we had to leave before the one in the morning. We then decided to have a drink on the viewing deck but that was closed as someone had booked it for a private meal. We then wanted a meal but most of the options weren't available. I had a salad, which was nice and fresh, my husband had the ribs but wasn't impressed. The morning breakfast was a buffet which was OK but not very warm. We left early and didn't stop to talk to the rude man on the gate. We won't go back?

Rustic simplicity, peace and quiet are the main reasons for the guests enjoyment of their stay here. Our small Guesthouse is located in quiet Lobatse, near the border to South Africa. We make an excellent resting stop for people travelling around southern Africa.
Clean & Tidy
Reviewed By joandjerryWhile there isn't many accommodation options in Lobatse we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Swinburns. It's close to town/shops/atm etc. The units are very roomy and supply the basics with lovely clean white linen. Continental breakfast served daily at a time that suits you. It's nice a quiet and has off street parking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Baratani Hotel offers charming rustic accommodation in the warm, natural surrounds of Otse village. The hotel comprises 9 serviced bungalows with DSTV, Wi-Fi and fridges, varying from luxury to family chalets. The bungalows are set in well-manicured grounds incorporating a large swimming pool. The restaurant boasts an extensive menu with an outdoor BBQ and a bar that overlooks Baratani Hill.
Stuck for accommodation!
Reviewed By ChristaJacksonBooked in here as there was no accommodation available in Lobatse, was a bit difficult to find, but was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Although a bit run down (just coming out of winter) garden very dry, rooms were immaculate, staff very friendly. Swimming pool excellent, Unfortunately did not get to have breakfast or dinner there. Would definitely stay here again. Highly Recommended

We have a total of 72 Rooms, being; 22 Deluxe Lodge Rooms, 40 Luxury Hotel Rooms and 10 Executive Lodge Rooms Our Lodge Rooms are found in our thatched upmarket state of the art chalets with each having 2 Deluxe Lodge Rooms downstairs and an Executive Lodge Room upstairs coupled with an executive lounge. Our rooms are all ensuite with flat screen TV connected to DSTV with 36 channels, ensuite shower or bathtub, tea/coffee making facilities and an overheard fan to increase the coolness in the thatched chalets. On either side of the chalets are braai areas ideal for a family weekend. All our chalets are strategically positioned in full view of the Lake visible while you are in the room or the deck. You will enjoy the view from the chalets where you can see wild animals while you enjoy your morning tea or coffee. Our Luxury Hotel Rooms are in our Luxurious Hotel situated on top of the highest valley in the game farm.

Reviewed By NgwanyanawamosepeleWe decided to try the Lion Viewing and Zipline. Reception at gate was fine. To go on zipline you give the lady the receipts and she tells you to keep checking for your turn. She was not very polite and I could not tell if she was overwhelmed or simply rude. We decided to go see lions while waiting our turn on zipline. There is no social distancing on the safari vehicle. Neither was there sanitizer. I asked if they did not adhere to social distancing on their trucks and was told no. All and well. The lion viewing. What a disappointment. Firstly there is only one lion ..we were told there was a second one but we did not see it. Chalet the lion was old and tired and the guide did not provide any information on him. Guys...what a waste of my P100. When we finally got on zipline it was short but thrilling. That was the only thing I enjoyed. The food was not nice either and took forever to prepare. It was honestly way below my expectations and the only thing that saved the day was the zipline and the beautiful view.

It offers wide variety of services but I mostly go there Wednesday evenings to relax with the karaoke session. There is a pool just by the hotel bar and offers a great and relaxing atmosphere. customer service is really good, can't complain

Worse place ever
Reviewed By Freedom N· I didn't like anything from this place and if it wasn't for my late arrival & a long drive I was going to go book somewhere else. I really hate complaining unless if I really have to. · We arrived at at the place and had to wait for 20 minutes someone to help us. Finally a lady ( I think the owner) arrived and didn't not even bother to introduce herself. She started asking me if I booked with bookings since she never gets any notification. Told me to drive to my room. All I wanted was a room to sleep after a long drive. The room is spacious but I would never stay there even if I was paid to. The kitchen had a dirty smelling dish cloth, there was a tray in the oven that had meat before & was never cleaned, the fridge had an open old milk. The tea station was half empty & dirty. She ( the manager) promised to replace the milk since she opened the fridge but that never happened. The room had a smelly blanket. The wardrobe was filthy with old stuff for housekeeping. Toilet had left of over used soaps, shavers and some cheap pink lotion. Shower is really cheap and small. I have so much to write about but if the owners are really serious they need to urgently sort that place out.
