Have been here a few times and Victoria being a chain are usually pretty good. The last time was the most shocking experience. A business meal of 3 people two main courses had to be sent back. The Calzone on the first dish raw and cold. A rib eye steak on the second meal over cooked and cold. When we complained the waiter showed no interest and blamed the chef. Taking the rib eye steak away he returned with âchefs complimentsâ a new meal. The chef had taken the rejected steak cut it up into slices and returned it to us as a main course with salad. Shocking. In leaving when we explained that we were. not paying a tip after paying for the full meal the waiter started arguing with us that the service was good. Generally restaurants in Bulgaria are pretty good and Victoria as a chain is usually reliable but I have never experienced a meal served with such contempt by both the chef and waiter. The manager who is usually present at this venue was not present this night. A shocking experience. Pity because we will never return to Victoria.

This restaurant in central Plovdiv, right on Stefan Stambolov square facing the fountain has just about everything you'd want. There is nice outdoor seating on the square, indoor seating for bad weather, a diverse menu with pictures (good for foreigners), cold draft beer, home made lemonade and great prices. It's not gourmet and also not expensive. The menu is quite diverse and includes, pasta, pizza and several pages (again with pictures) of sushi. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner.My favorite is the "forest salad", the spaghetti bolognese and the ham & cheese breakfast sandwich.The service is not perfect and sometimes you have to wave down a server, but we had no problems. Will return again when in Plovidiv.

Excellent overall quality - the interior is welcoming and dynamic, the food is VERY delicious and the staff is quite friendly. Stefani - the waitress on shift helped me choose from their amazing menu and I'm glad i took her advise. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing great here. The ambiance was fine but not great. Service was good. Food was average. We stopped here on our way back to our hotel and hoped for a more classic outdoor eating experience. A convenient restaurant if you are staying at the Grand Hotel Plovdiv. I ordered chicken on skewers with a salad and fried potatoes. It was ok and provided a reasonable meal but two of the chicken pieces were raw when cut open.The young waitress was very good and efficient.I would return but be more circumspect about the food I ordered.Thank you for your words, your opinion is very important to us.
