The restaurant is located just outside Varberg and has a really cosy and laid back vibe. The tables are beneath a big old oak tree which is very nice and there was a small area for our daughter to play with crayons and toys. Food was great! Much of the food is grown in the area and the crew seems to have a great passion for food and drinks. Nice place to just hang out for an evening or dinner with friends and family. Will definitely visit again.

Came to Varberg for the first time from the UK and looked continuously on TripAdvisor for a place for dinner. To me this place is underrated. The interior is warm with good lighting, Asian area carpets and wooden tables and chairs. This place appears to be relatively new. We took the recommendations of crayfish risotto and fish of the day. The food was good, if a tad over seasoned. The service was prompt and efficient. The prices were decent. With 2 we left just over 700 kroner bill of 2 mains, 2 salads, 2 small deserts and 1 glass of wine. Iâll be back.

Visiting Varbergs Kusthotell the restaurant provided us with a great experience during our stay. Both during lunch and dinner we were served food to our liking. Menu and wines are good, and reasonably priced. Had an excellent moules frites. View is fantastic towards the sea. Service was quite slow mind.

We were on a road trip with family from Stockholm and were staying in Varberg. There were 4 adults and 2 children. The restaurant was promoted as a relaxing place right on the beachfront with simple but tasty food. We booked a table as it was mid summer and is close to a popular camping site. We had a great table and such an easy place to take children. You order food and drinks inside and they sing out your number and you collect your food. We all ate pizzas. Delicious. Service great. Relaxed atmosphere. Great position and view.Afterwards we walked back along the beach, caught the road 'train' back to Varberg.Highly recommended.

Very, very nice meal. Only the finest raw ingredients. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It was delightful to be able to boast to my English visitors about the restaurant scene in Varberg. I had herb-crusted plaice for my main and it was delicious.

I have been seduced by a dessert. Not that the main course was bad ( it was a fantastic balanced fish dish !) nor was the wine, and the service was superb and welcoming ( the waiter could even speak French it turned out :-) BUT I have never eaten such a tasteful chocolate dessert. I have no words to describe it ... If I could I would write a symphony about it ... but just like the art of the 4 violins on the wall inspires the inner music when you eat something really good, the composition of "The Desert " with its 3 chocolate ingredient seduced me to come back .... and I have ... and each time it gets better. If you want to taste for yourself, you have to hurry because they close soon for the season.
