Two of us ate lunch, dough balls to start, pasta, polenta fries and pizza for mains. Staff very friendly. Used Tesco vouchers. Restaurant was very busy and noisy. Food served very quickly. Situated in a lovely rural setting, this pub/restaurant makes you feel calm and relaxed as soon as you walk through the door, where a warm welcome awaits. There's just no rush whatsoever in being shown to your table and choosing your meal from the lovely range available on the menu. Service is brilliant from the Italian owners and the menu is also predominantly Italian. The sweet trolley is to die for, being so difficult to choose from such a wide variety of superb desserts. Choice of real ales could be better. Quality of food is wonderful, which is reflected in the price. Overall, a lovely place to dine.

We headed here as a last minute booking for a birthday treat. The restaurant was quiet with only a couple of tables and 1 waitress serving, however the waitress was pleasant and very attentive throughout.The drinks and food arrived promptly and was all lovely.We had a couple of queries regarding dietary requirements and it was extremely refreshing to see that the waitress could easily look up our questions in a concise guide that was to hand, this reassured us that Pizza Express have taken Food Safety seriously.All in all we had a great meal and would happily go back!TIP: Always check the website or app as we saved a small fortune by grabbing the 2/3 course sent menu voucher available at the time.

This place obviously has a reputation as there was quite a line on Saturday night but the queue moved really quickly and we didn't have to wait long. The pizza was the best I've had. Really fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. We bought some dipping sauces too and these were absolutely amazing too (we were all fighting over the pizza crusts so we could dip them!).
