I love what the idea of chain name gives you when ordering. It should be consistency of a food that you're ordering. Whether in John O'Groats or Landsend, that chain will delivery the same product. Sadly not all chains can follow the instruction manual that HQ lovingly produce to maintain their brand & product. This is a branch that sadly seems to have either lost the manual or believe the way they do things exceeds the standards set by HQ. Our most recent delivery we received nearly was costly in human collateral. The driver must have believed he was driving for a racing qualifier. Driving into our col de sac at break neck speeds where children were playing. When mentioning, we received a dismissive response. Our pizza was passed. Hot yes, but not the most edible. A meat feast and margherita were ordered. Nither did we expect to arrive with the additional topping of Oau de tobacco. It was kind of them to deliver with this additional topping, but it is not a topping we like. The pizzas were very oily, almost as if they had been cooked in the fryers in Catch fish n chips, next door rather than their ovens. We contacted. Sadly though the response was as dismissive as the driver to his qualifying lap. We shall await the restaurant reopening by the cinema and use them should we choose to use the Pizza Hut brand again.

Two of us ate lunch, dough balls to start, pasta, polenta fries and pizza for mains. Staff very friendly. Used Tesco vouchers. Restaurant was very busy and noisy. Food served very quickly. Popped in for a quick drink with my husband one sunny Saturday afternoon. Fantastic warm welcome and great selection of drinks on offer. The atmosphere is great and the food we saw looked wonderful and we will definitely be back to eat.

One-of-a-kind establishment run and staffed by real characters. Decent beer and the food looked amazing (the cupcakes are a work of art!) but the decor is next level. Spend an hour here and you'll need another hour to double check the stuff on the walls/ceiling/floors and every available surface is really there. Real thought has gone into making a large space into a collection of intimate nooks: vintage arcade machines, unusual paraphernalia, weird taxidermy and comfy chairs next to an open fire! Good selection of mainstream beers and ciders (and top shelf) with more local, small batch beers also available. Plus, there's all the stuff outside too but you should go see that for yourself! Highly recommended!

Great choice of beer (9 changing keg lines, one real ale) and excellent, freshly cooked sourdough pizzas. Really friendly, welcoming and knowledgable service (particularly the tall, young barman). Highly recommended for a chilled drink with friends.

We headed here as a last minute booking for a birthday treat. The restaurant was quiet with only a couple of tables and 1 waitress serving, however the waitress was pleasant and very attentive throughout.The drinks and food arrived promptly and was all lovely.We had a couple of queries regarding dietary requirements and it was extremely refreshing to see that the waitress could easily look up our questions in a concise guide that was to hand, this reassured us that Pizza Express have taken Food Safety seriously.All in all we had a great meal and would happily go back!TIP: Always check the website or app as we saved a small fortune by grabbing the 2/3 course sent menu voucher available at the time.

This place obviously has a reputation as there was quite a line on Saturday night but the queue moved really quickly and we didn't have to wait long. The pizza was the best I've had. Really fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. We bought some dipping sauces too and these were absolutely amazing too (we were all fighting over the pizza crusts so we could dip them!).
