The ancient seaport of Ashkelon dates back to the Neolithic Age. In the course of its history, it has been ruled by the Ancient Egyptians, the Canaanites, the Philistines, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Phoenicians, the Hasmoneans, the Romans, the Persians, the Arabs and the Crusaders, until it was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1270.

There are not many good pizza places in Ashkelon. Domino's Pizza saves the day. The place makes a variety of tasty pizzas with a good and a real mozzarella cheese.The crust is also crisp and well baked. For a fast food chain eatery/take out place it provides a quality product.

The portions were relatively small and expensive and not inspiring, in fact, very ordinary. My wife ordered a Nana tea and was refused a refill of plain hot water. On a cold winter day they did not offer soup.

We wanted a pizza and didn't want to go on the regular known versions. We found this magnet on the fridge and decided to give them a try. The pizza arrived quickly, was very tasty and felt more homelike than the regular pizza one can get. We will buy there again for sure.Thank you very much, we would like to see you again

We always wished for a good Italian restaurant in Ashkelon and especially one that serves a good pizza. We got our wish in Eataly! We are completely sold on their incredible pizzas! The crust is just what it should be. The variety of toppings should satisfy everybody's wishes.The pizza is perfectly baked and as personal pizzas go, of a generous size. We barely (and sometimes not always) finish 2 pizzas between the both of us.. The pastas that we sampled were delicious.The service is friendly and inviting.The business lunches are a good deal. We simply love Eataly!!!

Friday June 2 . Nice new place but food was disappointing and service poor. Ordered salad with sautéed salmon and received a bowl of cucumbers with fried salmon. Instead of taking it back they offered to bring some lettuce on the side but never came. I would not recommend . I would also recommend to ownership and management to be present at the the location on Fridays.
