Because dogs were not allowed in the restaurant, my husband wasn't able to partake in the breakfast though it was part of our hotel bill. There was something for everyone though the scrambled eggs were too hard. The juice not fresh, too sugary. This is the second time I have eaten here, the location and presentation of this establishment is stunning.The staff are all pleasant friendly and the service efficient, all the ingredients for a great dinning experience !!!!I have been over the last 43 years a regular visitor to the Nederlandâs and have lived in Egmond an Zee for seven years in the past, i have commented many times to friends and family that âyou never get a bad steak in Hollandâ Congratulations Restaurant Comer you are the first.I ordered the Cote de Bouf steak medium to rare,It arrived as a grey Insipid looking piece of meat which was just showing a slight tinge of pink in the centre, it looked as if it had been boiled without any colour on the outside, this was sent back and was replaced with a piece of meat which was clearly not a steak on the bone cooked slightly better than the previous although still showing the same boiled effect as the previous.To save any kind of drama and so as not to spoil the whole thing for family dining with me i decided to just accept this awful plate of food i was confronted with.To add balance to this review the three other people found there food ok but nothing spectacular.Overall there is something fundamentally wrong with a cook who cannot produce a restaurant style steak in a country which is renowned for its culinary skills learned at the Horeca

The ambiance is amazing, you really have the feel of a castle.Before the name was Marquette but the feel is still the same.Very good service and nice food.

Reserved at 19.00 after a beach day. Friendly hostess, great service. Food was very tasy, everything matched well. Steak and fish very well prepared, the bearnaise was very tasteful. Nice touch to let the chef serve some dishes. The only little improving point would be the creme brulee, served in a cup which is a bit too high and the sugar wasn't caramalized well.

We had some drinks and cake after a walk at the beach and we weren t disappointed.the service was fast and friendly and the food was good!also dogs are welcome(which is at most beach cafes in Holland)

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in this New restaurant in Egmond aan Zee.The atmosphere is very pleasant and the seating is great. There is a good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The restaurant is also very good to visit with (young) children. The wine list shows a variey of good wines and they are reasonably prices.So this is certainly recommended after a day on the beach, when you want to enjoy the sunset with a good meal.Thank you very much Piet, it was a pleasure serving the family

The lifesize wooden ship inside the restaurant first put me off as being a silly tourist trap but this is actaully a nice place with friendly service and food prepared with fresh ingredients and by competent chefs. And not too pompous nor too casual. Also suitable for families. The one weakness might be the winelist that is made up of industrial wineries although none of these are bad wines.Thank you so very much for your appreciation of our restaurant, food and service.
