This resturant is in a small village about one hour from Munich, it is well worth a visit, you need to call first, as sometimes they have private partys which book out the resturant.The resturant was recomended but it was even better than i imagined, it is just run by two people, but you feel well looked after, they have a small menu which they write on a board, and bring to your table, everything is cooked fresh, so you must wait, but they bring you appetiszers ( free) while you wait.The food is outstanding, we were 8 people and everyone praised the food to the highest order. The service amazing and the resturant is very tastely decorated with a piano which is over 100 years old and a very old typewriter, to name a few of the things around.To our delight they made a tradtional german dessert a panacake type dish but with currants etc and takes a while to make, this was also free of charge.they really made you feel welcome, I cannot wait to have the chance to go again.Even without the freebies, this resturant is not expensive very good value for money.

Wir haben dort Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und Salat und Käsespätzle mit Salat gegessen. Preislich super da inclusive. Salat aus den Buffet. Alles frisch und sehr gut. Besser kann es eigentlich nicht sein. Weiter so!!

We had a dinner in this restaurant by recommendation of the owner of the hotel we were sleeping in. Everything was pretty much satisfactory only prices were a bit higher than in other restaurants. As there was nothing else we could complain about ... thanks for a pleasant evening!

The restaurant serves very good Southern German food with well executed recipes and excellent ingredients. The same family owns a butcher shop close to the hotel and restaurant where one can find typical German sausages and other preparations

The restaurant offered a good choice of meals. The service was very good because there were many waitresses looking after the indoor and outdoor dining areas. The meal was satisfactory in taste though well presented. The better side to the restaurant I thought was the children's play area just in front of the outdoor dining area.
