My boyfriend and I ate here after learning they make pizza and pasta. The staff was immediately rude, laughing at us and walking away when my boyfriend was talking to them in Laos. They stood close to our table and stared at us the entire time we ate, and when we attempted to talk to them (in Lao) they would roll their eyes and walk away. Finally my boyfriend said (in Lao) "You dont speak Lao? Do you speak any language?" This made them angry enough that they backed off. They were about 6 young girls, probably teenagers. The food was a welcome change from the Asian cusine. The eggplant pasta was very good. The marinara sauce was light, and the pasta fresh. The pizza was also good, but not to be compared to pizza in the US. The pepperoni was actually hard salami and the sauce had a bit of a bbq sauce taste to it. We enjoyed it, though it is different than typical western pizza. We also got a cesar salad. The vegetables were very fresh, though the croutons were simply sliced toast and the dressing is simply red vinegar. We returned the next day and ordered two pizzas to go. The staff was still rude. The cheese pizza is tasty, with basil and a sweet sauce. Again, it is different than typical western pizza, but good nonetheless. The pizzas were about $6 each, and they were medium sized. There are other restaurants nearby that serve pasta and burgers (sabidee restaurant just down the road). The owner there was very friendly and his food looked good. If you are not set on eating pizza, and prefer a friendly atmosphere, I suggest trying a different restaurant.

Paksong cafe' Place for rest We hope customer will enjoy and happy, when you choose to come and enjoy with us and free WiFi. Thank you.
We stopped here for coffees and food. Very surprising place: tasteful interior that could have been of a coffee shop in NYC (with some imagination...). The service was extremely friendly and the food really good, surprisingly so because there really aren't many options out here. Pizzas are excellent and Lao or Thai dishes as well. Clean toilets. Sorry for the lame pictures of my car on the parking lot and my daughter taking a picture of me.
Small restaurant with atmosphere but open all day so you can have breakfast with us and lunch and Dinner

In Lao, Soum Noum means âto gatherâ. It is this coming together of Lao and Mediterranean cuisines that you will find prominent in our dishes, from traditional Lao dishes to authentic Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant has some of the finest dining in Ch
By far the best dinner we had in Champasak when we were in the area. Food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers Western and regional food - we went for the regional option.Service was extremely friendly and they helped us ordering a taxi back to our hotel (which wasn't that straight forward because of a festival at Vat Phou)

Live Sports, Pool Table, Foosball Table. Great music. Draught Beer. Great variety of entertainment and games. English speaking staff. Full tourist information available. Good variety of food and drinks at high quality and large portions. Incredible views
The food here was great but dont use thier ATM service, they convert at their own rate AND still add 6% on top of the cash withdraw amount. you basically end up paying like 12% to 14% to withdraw money, its crazy! When I asked the bar lady why they double charge this way she go upset and told me to somewhere else. I did so and saved money.

We stumbled across this restaurant and ended up going two nights in a row. Food was amazing. We had Laos sausages, and parcels of chicken, wrapped in a leaf with herbs and spices. The owner and cook was lovely, very chatty and offered us a taste of Laos whiskey, which she then drank with us, chatting and telling us Laos traditions. The owner makes her own pepper and chilli and all is delicious. Best place we have eaten, would definitely recommend.
