Incredible looking hotel, great location, top service
Reviewed By vamoosewithusDotonburi Hotel is walking distance from the Metro train lines and you can walk to the JR line (Namba Station) - however it is only 280 yen if you get the Metro. The hotel is located perfectly for access to food, shopping and night-life. The free inclusions with this hotel are better than any other hotel i have stayed at. Free WiFi, Laptop hire, free drinks in the lobby, free mini bar re-stocking, massage chair, free ramen and beer at night and free pocket Wi-Fi to name a few. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again next time i am in Osaka. Highly recommend.

Spacious room near Dotonbori - but check in a bit stressful
Reviewed By Rachel CAfter being in some very small rooms in Toyko with teenagers, the space provided in this room was appreciated. The room was very comfortable and clean and allowed us to spread out. The small balcony, while only looking over other buildings, was welcomed as well. It is close to the main Dotonbori area, but in the seedier red-light part of town. It is worth noting that this is an apartment - not a hotel in the conventional sense. You check in via an iPad and cannot store luggage before checking in. The check in was straight forward, but lengthy (need to photograph, and provide information for each person/passports etc, call someone through the iPad, get two codes for entry) and the person before us was having all sorts of trouble with their room code. We arrived early and had no where to store luggage so had to drag them around with us for a few hours. This could also be an issue if you have a late flight out of Osaka. In short if you want space and comfort - choose this place. If you feel you need a bit more guidance and the staff support of a hotel, choose somewhere else.

Reviewed By Reeree1011If you're going to stay at y's cabin in the summer, there were no air cons or fans in the capsule so if you get hot in them youd have to leave your roller blind open half way at least, while there is air con outside of your capsule. In my capsule there was only a vent fan which didn't do much at all considering.

Reviewed By Dickson_ChoongMy collage and I recently stayed at Welina Hotel Dotonbori,Osaka from 13-17 Jan 2020. For our stay, we booked a Twin Room (Room 614). All I and my collage started to experience severe itching and it was not long after that bites marks began to surface. Only then did we identify that it those were the result of BED BUGS bites!! We are absolutely certain of this having gone to see the doctor as a result. The number of bites were so severe that each of us had an average of 20 bites – 30 bites, whilst I had more than 30! A photo of the bites on my behind and my hand is attached for your attention. This has not only caused us thorough inconvenience but pain and suffering for over 6 days and up till this date. I do check the review at agoda review,I found other guest face same problem in same room @ last month 25 Dec 2019

Horrible, avoid at all costs
Reviewed By Debbie LWe booked the property for 3 days during our stay in osaka but ended up leaving after 20 mins to stay somewhere else similarly priced and muuuuuch better. It is well located however the property itself is very misleading. It is a shabby accommodation that is dirty, dark and smells funny. The rooms are tiny and just have a general unsavory feel about the.we booked a canal room and got a room facing the road and construction works. We switched rooms but then there was hair on the floor and also no aircon remote. The guy who checked us in was rude and didn't communicate much. Just took cash payment, no credit card despite hotels.com saying it does, and then didn't issue a receipt. There is no 24 front desk service as advertised either. It's like pulling teeth trying to reach someone. We asked for a refund and the receipt but so far none are forthcoming. Really horrible experience and a waste of time, money and effort. Horrible please stay away from this place! I'm not a very fussy traveler but this one really was bad, trust thw review this time and don't stay here.
