1.4 Merit Montevideo Apart & Suites is a newly-opened hotel located in Pocitos, in one of the most traditional and yet modern and safe neighborhoods in Montevideo. Its strategic location allows easy access from any part of the city just by taking the avenue of the Rambla (waterfront promenade) and from any major streets of the capital city. Both day and night, this neighborhood offers a wide range of gastronomic, financial, and commercial services including two of the most important shopping centers: Punta Carretas Shopping Center and Montevideo Shopping Center. 1.4 Merit Montevideo is a premier three-star hotel with 40 units of apartments and suites. All the units have balconies with magnificent views of the Montevideo coast from the upper floors and of the Pocitos neighborhood areas with its traditional housing from the lower floors. The suites offer outdoor gardens with their own barbeque. But if you are looking for a clean, (yes, previous reviewer - clean) modern apart hotel, in a good Montevideo neighborhood, this is the place. We didn't try the breakfast, so no comment on that. However for less than seventy bucks a night we got a spacious living room, large balcony, a full size kitchen (including large refrigerator, stove top, microwave and electric kettle) a bedroom with all the amenities, and a small but efficient bathroom w/shower. New flat screen TV with international channels plus HBO, in both bedroom and living room and WIFI. We chose the hotel because it was close to a friend's apt., so didn't use the kitchen. We did not need full hotel services. But if you are spending a few days and find that a very reasonably-priced suite with a full kitchen fits your needs, go no further!

Contamos con Habitaciones estándar, y apartamentos CON COCINA, completamente equipados con todo lo que necesitas para que en tu estadía TE SIENTAS COMO EN CASA. En los pisos 10, 11 y 12 se encuentran ubicadas los penthouse, salón de eventos, centro de negocios, sala de reunión privada y terraza con barbacoa.

La atención del equipo super cordial, siempre atentos. En la cafetería sirven un café impecable. Sin dudas el mejor Apart hotel en el centro de Montevideo. Todo cerca, y medios de transporte a mano. Seguramente Volveremos!!!

Modern and practical fully equipped apartments for 3 or 4 people.They have a full equipped kitchen, with LCD 42' with cable TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioner in the two rooms, a great bathroom, bedding, towels and tableware, besides having a great view to the sea.The building has a barbecue, laundry room, 24 hour surveillance, doorman and reception and parking available. The apartments are located in a brand new building in the City Center of Montevideo, placed just a block away from the City Hall, the information center, the stop of the tourist bus, the Museum of Art History and a few steps away from 18 de Julio Avenue and the monument "El Gaucho".This is a privileged location since there are a lot of public transportation lines, shops, restaurants, museums and cultural centers around the area. It's also very near the Old City and just 7 blocks away form the board walk.

Reviewed By PanttteraGood place. I've been living there for a 3 weeks and once I've lost my bracelet and Skyline's staff helps me to find it. Actually we were travel with a group of 30 ppls and everyone were satisfied with service. I like this place. Recommend.

Reviewed By Hugo SEsse não é um hotel nem um hostel, são Suites para alugar com um banheiro compartilhado e Wi-Fi. Isso é importante porque: não há recepção, o atendimento físico é bem precário (você recebe o whatsapp de alguém do local e esse é seu canal de atendimento - é estritamente virtual). Ao chegar você recebe a chave da porta da frente do prédio e a chave do seu quarto e um envelope em que você vai botar a chave e devolver, colocando o envelope na caixa do correio. Normalmente não é problema, para mim foi. Meu retorno era as 7:00 e tinha que sair antes das 5:00 da manhã. Não havia ninguém para pedir um taxi para mim ou qualquer coisa do gênero. Não havia telefone disponível ou alguém para ligar. Tive de pedir um uber, o que normalmente não seria um problema, mas não tinha um chip do uruguai e a rede de wi-fi falhou na hora e tive que usar do andar de cima do mesmo estabelecimento (que por sorte tinha a mesma senha). Só que a rede era só no quarto (no 8º andar) e eu teria que ir para fora para pegar o carro. Como a chave era para ser devolvida na caixa do correio, só dava para devolver ao ver o Uber ou você fica preso do lado de fora. E se o wi-fi do 9º andar tivesse outra senha eu estava a ver navios. Esse foi o único momento em que eu me arrependi de não ter pego um chip local, me vi de mãos atadas. E isso faz parte do modelo, não tem jeito. Dito isso, sobre o local em si: a localização é boa e dá para andar até os pontos principais. O quarto é espaçoso e o banheiro é muito bom, ainda que seja compartilhado com outros. Fui no inverno e o quarto era mais frio do que gostaria e dava para ouvir muito os ventos. Não foi uma noite boa. Mas imagino que fora do inverno seja muito bom. O pessoal naquilo que eu precisei foi bastante atencioso.
