Outstanding dinner

The inn is perfectly located. My husband is Japanese so he checked us in and translated some of the staff’s tour information for me. We spent one night and I regret that we weren’t here longer! It was nice to choose our own yukata and my husband had fun exploring the owner-curated library. We did not have time to use the onsen. The Kaiseki dinner was absolutely delicious and carefully presented. I think 80% of what we ate was grown locally and the dinner included fish, eel, oyster, beef, Japanese vegetables, and more. Wow! The futon and pillows were extremely comfortable and they had a “pillow bar” which we did not use where you could select a pillow of your liking. We didn’t use this feature, but there was also some sort of smartphone in the room that you could use during your stay. I liked the sink area in the bathroom compared to other rooms we’ve stayed in in Japan. I would definitely return to spend more time here!

A Nice Surprise

Just south of Ryuki Lake, this hotel with hot springs and serene environment turns out to be the best choices among the six we stayed around Hiroshima-ken this week. We picked this one because it's not too far from Ini Tanada terraced rice field. We are probably the only family staying in this hotel, presumably with the low season. That's the bonus for us when we can "own" the onsen. Another surprise is that we found a nice children playground right next to the hotel. A "wow' factor for our nine-year-old.

A gem on the island

Reviewed By quack23

This is one of the best hotel/ ryokan that I have stayed. The room is homely and the staff from the bus driver, to the reception, dinning and others makes you feel at home. We got the seaview room and nothing was better to have a cup of tea watching the sun set over the waters and surrounding island. This hotel also has the mini electric car that we rented to sight-see around the island. Dinner was very good. We had grilled abalone, that was a pleasant surprise. Outdoor public onsen had seaviews and you could gaze at the stars. Great place to relax and unwind from the city. Highly recommend.

Reviewed By take_ippo
