Akasuki Restaurant is located on the grounds of the Forest Inn. If you're traveling to Mashiko, I recommend spending the night at the Forest Inn, too. We made reservations the week before we arrived. Our course meal was gourmet! (Â¥3,800) The various fish are sourced from Hakodate. The chef took into account any allergies or food concerns we had. We had so many different kinds of dishes (see my review about the Forest Inn for these pics). Everything was served on Mashikoyaki. We tried the local sake too. The service was impeccable. It was one of the best meals we've ever had.
