Top 5 Chinese food in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Reviews on Chinese food in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Best known as the capital of Charlemagne's Frankish empire, today's Aachen sits at the juncture where Germany meets the Netherlands (the Dutch know it as Aken) and Belgium (where "Walloons" call it Aix-la-Chapelle). But Aachen's history goes back even further than 8th-century Charlemagne. Roman soldiers dating back to the 1st century AD cherished its hot springs (as did Charlemagne, who loved a good spa day just as much as the next guy). Aachen Cathedral, northern Europe's oldest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the city's main attraction.

"We don’t do extraordinary things, but we do things extraordinarily!" Dumplings which are a very common dish in China are made extraordinarily here at Wei&Wei. In order to guarantee the best quality we only focus on dumplings, all home-made! We offer them

The menu has lots and lots of different kinds of dumplings to choose from. We shared a vegetarian and vegan offerings, and both kinds were both delicate and delicious. There were lots of meat varities too, if you prefer, but it is veggie-friendly.We went at lunchtime on a Saturday and all of the tables were occupied. The member of staff was very friendly and told us roughly how long the wait was (there are seats inside), and we did get a table quickly. Don't be discouraged if you think it looks busy!We appreciate your positive review Erin and we are glad you enjoyed our dumplings! Indeed it may look busy but the wait is usually not long. Thank you for pointing that out! We hope to see you again soon. All the best,Wei&Wei Team

I needed a late dinner in Aachen and I checked on reviews of tripadvisor. I tried to avoid this restaurant due to the recent bad reviews, then I gave a try when I found other restaurants in the area closed. It did not turn out to be bad at all. First they had a roasted duck offer which was really nice. It came with mango sauce and stir fried veggies along with steamed rice. The duck in particular was lovely. Moreover the waitress who handled me was very attentive and cordial. There was no bad attitude whatsoever. I might agree that the place is a bit pricy but not that much either. All in all it was a good experience.

be careful: only the soup noodles are handmade. the other noodle dishes are made with storebought noodles. you can find way better and more authentic chinese food in aachen. will not go there again. prices are ok, portions quite smallHello Hanchim, thank you for your opinion. Your review is incorrect neither complete in terms of our dishes. Our handmade noodles refers to wheat based noodles, not rice noodles. Basically, almost every other noodles on the menu are handmade. The one you chose was probably the rice noodle. I guess you chose that one because it is the cheapest. It is meant only for small appetite ("für den kleinen Hunger"). It is NOT a full meal! All informations stated here are also written on the menu. Please read the menu carefully next time. If you need assistance to cross the language barrier our friendly personel speaks English fluently and is happy to help you. Feel free to try our homemade dished another time. I appreciate if you recommand how we can make our dishes "more authentic". Kind regards

Beef salad good, but we would recommend to point out that there are beef innards as well. As it is in Germany it is not everyone s taste. Spicy and good flavour. Double seared pork excellent. Kung bao chicken stale taste. Unfortunately the other two Sichuan restaurants in Aachen serve definitely better :/ quite disappointing dish. Tasted very neutral. Not flavourful at all. Ambience lovely. This definitely is the nicest Chinese restaurant when looking at the ambience. Overall - yes can be recommended. We will try a second time and then decide.

Somewhat famous for their hot pot, it should be noted that they're only featuring it evenings from Wed through Sat as well as from noon on Sundays. It's well worth having (and fairly priced, too) though seeing that it's buffet based it may take a bit of getting used to.Also, try their Chinese-only menu with lots of Szechuan dishes being offered, plenty of pics and very helpful staff to guide you.One star less than five because of their time worn "our electronic credit card terminal's out of order, so sorry" trick which I'm really fed up with, seeing it all the time esp. in Asian restaurants. Not cool.
