A Friendly Oasis
Reviewed By John JI stayed for two nights in an air-conditioned [quiet] room, on a very comfortable bed and good shower... There was a big screen tv... The whole hotel is very clean and staff are not only friendly; they were all helpful. I get up early and they had a cup of coffee for me at 5! Sitting on the patio with a cool breeze - the best and the gardens are beautiful .The meals [two breakfasts and two lunches] were tasty and presented professionally. when I go back, I'll stay there for sure!

Reviewed By jesroraimadHi. The hotel is good, but it is unfortunate that it is only a facade. I was three days and word the attention of the reception is bad. since the person who attends is very rude and disrespectful towards their employees and mistreats them in front of the client that as a guest we lack respect since that says a lot about the place. There is no hot water, the TV is ornate, the air conditioning does not cool and the music from the bar is passed to the room and the restaurant is only chicken and fish. By grace, not everything is bad since there were three people the young Stephen, the cleaning girl Maria attentive, friendly and helpful which they scolded for just responding to my problem that I had and the Venezuelan girl from the excellent kitchen who demonstrated effective responsibility and respect towards me as a guest. I give four of these three employees among ten stars.

Visit to Lethem
Reviewed By adm31Stayed here an a safari to the South Rupununi Savannah. The safari itself is another topic. Stayed here the night before and one night before leaving. Place itself very clean and safe, friendly staff. The hostess was very helpful and assisted in whatever way possible. Its no five star , but worth the money, hot water, ac. Food was great. Only drawback...no wifi at the moment. hopefully in future :). Hoping to visit Lethem again soon.

Kaiambay Lodge is a quiet guesthouse placed in a residential area in the border town of Lethem. From here is it possible to experience the best of the little quiet town. We have a selection of rooms ranging from small rooms with fan and shared toilets to rooms with private toilet and AC. It is possible to arrange transportation and tours to many of the nearby communities.
