After having visited Sjiek in summer out on the terrace, this time the visit was in winter. Inside the small historical building there is a nice and cozy bar with some tables, and upstairs a bigger restaurant space. There was a good choice of meat and fish dishes and also of wines although on the expensive side. The food turned out to be excellent and with friendly service. So this place is for winter as well as summer.

The Lucas drinkbar is located in a very nice area in the centrum from Schiedam, It's in front from a small nice square, surrounding by bar and restaurants. Hier is cozy and the waiters are friendly.The wine and beer menu are good. I recommend it!!

The location,decor and staff are great, you can't fault them.Then comes the bad. Most of the people in my party were served(and started to drink)off Singha beers (from august 18.)The manager apologized and changed for Tiger beers(still going off in a few months.) No commercial gesture on the bill.I had the ramen soup with chicken which was litterally only bland noodles and a few pieces of crispy chicken. Some people had the kung fu chicken,found it average. The ribeye was also dry. My litchi and vodka cocktail was the only tasty thing. Overall it was not worth the 18 euro per pers we paid.

We were for university visits in Rotterdam. For lunch we ended up at Baker and Moore. Be we found this because of the gluten-free lunch my daughter needs. They have nice breads and very nice gluten-free buns. Most toppings are gluten-free as well. Services was great only it took some time before we got our order. It was very busy. But the waitress kept us posted and apologized a few times for the delays. Overall good place to go. Nice gluten free buns and fresh slices of bread. Place to go.
