Achteraan deze alledaagse rijwoning bevind zich een ruim terras met spectaculair zicht op de Scheldevallei Zeer verrassend qua setting ..... WOW. Mooi aanbod op de kaart qua spijs en drank, eveneens geserveerd van "goed" tot "zeer goed". Oestertjes als hapje waren zeer welkom. Aanbod van non-alcoholische dranken werd geapprecieerd. Attente en druk zijnde uitbaters, bedienend personeel heeft steuntje in de rug nodig. Ik kom zeker terug !!!Een aanrader, een ontdekking.

Stopped here for an easy and quick lunch on our hiking tour. Must say, this was the biggest spaghetti I've ever seen in my life! And it was very good and cheap only 8 euro's! My dear owners, I'll be back!The croques are good too, but they do not compare to the spaghetti

We got a bongo bon from our friends for this 1* Michelin restaurant. It was cold outside and cold inside. Apparently, they did not heat the restaurant before the arrival of the clients. The personnel however is very friendly, but the service is extremely slow. After 2 1/2 hours I was so hungry that we ate all the bread we could eat. And i saw other people had the same problem. For the desert I had to ask to accelarate. The plates were very small, but were very well presented and the food was of good quality. However, I was disappointed and will probably not return.

We aten er steaks en friet: die waren op zich oké, maar de geserveerde paling (suggestiemenu aan 30 (!) euro was veel te vettig. Bij onze aperitief (cava's) kregen we niets van een knabbelnootje, een kaasje of een 'amuse geule'. terwijl we wel op een andere tafel nootjes zagen staan.De vrouwelijke ober was bruut en helemaal niet vriendelijk, behalve tegen kindjes.De uitbater vond het ook nodig om grove woorden zoals kl... te gebruiken.We kregen bij het afrekenen wel een potje Choco toffs, wat we wel een leuke afsluiter vonden, maar ons niet kon overtuigen om hier ooit nog terug te keren.
