The restaurant is conveniently located in the historic centre just opposite the âVisbankâ, the former fish auction built in the 18th century. The area around the restaurant was recently renovated and made pedestrians only (spring 2013). There are many caféâs around with terraces which makes it a popular and lively hangout for locals, particularly in summer. Restaurant Delphi also has a small terrace with about 6 small tables.Inside the restaurant has two levels which both were pretty crowded when the place was visited so advance booking maybe required. On some nights there is live Greek music but that seems to be on one floor only so decide what you want. Check the website of the restaurant for details or ask when you visit the place.This restaurant has been on this location for many years in its originally setting. The quality has been maintained for all these years. The restaurant has partitions everywhere so you can sit reasonably private.Service was friendly and efficient. When you arrive you will get a welcome drink (Ouzo) and some bread with spread. On Friday and Sunday they serve a âGreek Tableâ (min. 2 pers.) which was my selection when I visited. This was a good deal with three courses of very good food, more than you can eat. With wine and coffee to finish, the bill was a reasonable ⬠60,- for two ($ 80,- / September 2013)And with the bill you will get a last drink on the house, a sort of sangria.

Always a pleasure to eat here , Nice interior with plenty of space and choices of where to sit, staff is friendly and helpull and the service is well timed so no pushing food on the table .Qaulity of the food is excellent all in all a great place for a having a meal with freinds , family or a romantic evening !

griekse smaak ,was een goede zaak voor grieks eten ,maar is al paar jaar weg ,is al vele afhaalrestaurantjes verder en is nu een eetcafe Big El Avivwij halen er zeker 2x per maand een maaltijd vooral de turkse pizzas ,kapsalons kleine of grote schotels van het huis (met extra groenten ) vinden wij zeer goed te eten wij eten het thuis op want daar eten vind ik niet zo gezellig ,maar er is gelegenheid om het daar op te eten personeel is vriendelijk en bereid de maaltijd aan te passen (pittige saus wat meer of de kaas eruit )

Have been to this restaurant several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. Huge portions of good food, not the cheapest but well worth the expense. Love the garden and it's retractable roof for when it rains. Took my mother there for her birthday recently, it's probably the best place in the area for vegetarian food, and she loved it. Very good indeed.
