The Shipwreck Hut is an awesome little beach bar situated right on the sand at the Aro'a Beachside Inn, overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunning sunsets while sipping one of our famous "jam-jar cocktails". We also offer
Terrific location on the beach to watch the sun dive behind the horizon. Stunning views over the water with a big chance to see passing whales during the season. The cocktails are great, the broad variety of beers are cold and the barfood is tasty. For the kids a very nice and safe tree to climb in. You will not see them back the whole night :).Kia Orana,Thank you for your great review, much appreciated. Very pleased that you enjoyed our awesome little beach bar.Hope to see you back again.Meitaki,Steve, Geraldine and the A Team.

The Blue Water Grill is the signature beach casual restaurant of the adult's only Sanctuary Rarotonga - on the beach resort with a specialization in seafood. An adjacent secluded swimming pool, swim up bar and pool side dining offers casual dining. Savour
Good food; a little pricey for Raro. Has very good ambience and the singers were lovely at dinner. Service is shaky, but they are trying. The continental breakfast was a carb-fest and the ordered breakfasts were nice, but too pricey. The seafood platter is huge (too much for two people) but delicious.Kia Orana,Thank you for taking the time to post your review of your dining experience with us. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed the ambience and entertainment as well the complimentary tropical breakfast buffet and the hot a la carte options. Our seafood platter is definitely a guest favourite and I am happy that you had the opportunity to sample this local dish. Our famous and ever popular Seafood Platter for Two includes âIka Mataâ Diced local Game Fish marinated in Lemon Juice and Coconut Cream, âMitioreâ Grated Coconut & Poached Prawns, Seared local Game Fish, Pesto Crumbed Pan Seared Scallops, Creamy New Zealand Mussel Chowder, Line caught Yellow Fin Tuna Sashimi with Honey Miso Marinade, Coconut Panko Crumbed Deep Sea Fish Goujons, Charred Garlic Tiger Prawns, Tempura Pacific Oysters, Seafood Arancini, Spicy Sambal with a Fresh Garden Salad, Island Slaw, Warm Breads & Dips all for just $NZ 99.Our complimentary continental tropical buffet includes seasonal fresh island fruits, fresh fruit salad, home-stewed fruits, Bircher muesli, homemade yoghurt, fresh-baked breads, pastries, muffins & croissants, cereals, toast, spreads, fruit juices, tea & coffee. Other hot breakfast options are available from our a la carte menu for a small additional charge. Our meals and drink prices are in line with what you pay at other similar outlets around the island, which are more like Australia and New Zealand than Bali or Thailand, and cheaper than Fiji. Please note that as we are a small tropical island in the middle of the South Pacific, apart from locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as Game Fish, we need to import many items.Kind Regards, Greg Long Food & Beverage Manager
A friendly locally owned Bar and Eatery catering to simple yet delicious food and drink. Great Service. Great Food. Great Views. Doubles as a Nightclub and Lounge Bar in the evening.
This bar used to be a favourite when it was called "Whatever". We were a little disappointed last October when it opened as "On the Rocks" to find that they weren't serving food. But on our visit earlier this month we were delighted to find they were again open for lunch and dinner. As with the previous owners the food was simple, affordable and served with a smile.
