Reviewed By rachelAHopzFirst, it was so nice to be greeted at the airport with fresh leis and cold flasks of water after a rough flight with our 20-month old! We don’t normally splurge to stay at such nice resorts but were worried about how this vacation with our son might go as he’d been displaying meltdowns of epic proportion recently. The conveniences of complimentary breakfast, a high quality restaurant (one of the best continental breakfast spreads I’ve ever seen and highly recommend their amazing ika mata), filtered water refill stations, private beach access to a protected lagoon, complimentary kayaks/SUPs, fresh sheets on an extremely comfortable bed along with fresh towels daily, babysitter services, and the friendliest, most excellent staff doting on our son every day has made this an unforgettable trip, worth every penny!

Absolute beachfront on Muri. This intimate boutique resort offers 20 beautifully decorated deluxe self-contained villas and apartments. These well-appointed units feature air-conditioning, Jacuzzi spa baths, insect screens, TV/DVD, in-house movies, Wi-Fi internet, IDD telephones. And all of this is set amongst tropically landscaped gardens. When not enjoying the stunning views from the beachfront deck, enjoy lazing by the large swimming pool sipping tropical cocktails. Great base for Rarotonga holiday
Reviewed By SeniorTraveller60sThis resort had all we needed for our week stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, a breakfast basket and bottle of bubbles a pleasant extra. The villa had patio area which was made private by surrounding garden, the pool was gorgeous, and we were right by the lagoon for swimming too. The unit was clean and whilst not huge was fine for the two of us. Well set up if you wanted to cook, but close to a range of eateries if like us you didn't! Highly recommend!

Reviewed By CharlotteM920I had booked a bungalow for 7 nights. I only lasted less than an hour after check in! The photos must be very old as the bungalow didn’t look anything like them in real life. The whole place is very run down and definitely in the budget/backpacker category. I was told I’d have to pay an extra $50 per night for air con even though my booking clearly stated that air con was included. I had booked via Agoda so my payment for the 7 nights was non refundable but I honestly would have paid more than that to be able to get away from that place! I ended up finding a place just down the road for the same price but a million times nicer. I’m still having nightmares about the terrible state of the bungalows!!!

Reviewed By CapnnodWe have just had a fantastic stay here. Great room with everything you need and we were lucky enough to get a lovely ocean view. It was a nice bonus adults only too for us. Pool area was nice with nice touches like complimentary cocktail and snack before happy hour. Da breakfast included and Al the staff were very friendly and helpful. Right on the lagoon with free water sports.

Reviewed By UpToSpeedAbother great stay at Muri Heights. Highly recommended. And Mii is a great hostess, atttentive, easy to communicate with but not overbearing or obtrusive. The villas themselves are high enough to catch the breeze but close enough to Muri village with the coffee cafes and a dairy within walking distance. Two scooter and car hire places just down the hill and another 200 meters going north. And the Moorings, best fish sandwich on the island, very close as well. What else is there to say?

Reviewed By JUPANDMUPWe had 8 lovely nights at Rendezous and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are 2 villas and we were in Villa 1. They are both very private and a bonus is that you can swim nudey in the pool and nobody would know. Not ideal to swim out front at the beach but we weren't worried as we did a lagoon cruise and had the pool. The villa is serviced every second day by Susie who does a great job and is very friendly. Met Des a couple of times and was always pleasant and chatty. Sure some people have written a few negative reports on the villas but we had no problems. Everything in the villa was in working order and it was great to have a little fold up clothes line and washing machine/dryer. Also a bonus is having the sea breeze coming into your bedroom at night and if you opened the doors on the other side you got a through breeze. Lovely and quiet. Flies and mozzies are all part of the tropics and you should be prepared. Maybe putting coils into the villas would help too. Other than that a great stay. Thank you Des.

Reviewed By glenlanWe stayed here as 2 couples. This place is amazing. The views are awesome, you can see the whole of Muri. Pool was great too, with views whilst swimming! There was juice, milk, bread, butter, coffee etc available on arrival, which was fantastic after such a late flight. Tara went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Joy was great...making sure we had all we needed. We had hired a car so coming and going was easy. Loved how quiet it was, but close to everything too!
