In Arnhem city centre, close to the main bus station (Willemsplein), there is this modest but lovely and excellent Indian restaurant. Dishes are freshly cooked to order. We had a chicken thali and a lamb thali. They could have been a bit spicier, but their flavour was fantastic. Service is friendly and prices are pleasant.

Lunchroom de Beken is vijf dagen per week open. De horeca is ook te reserveren voor partijen en feesten. In het restaurant is elke 3 maanden een wisselexpositie te bewonderen van een kunstenaarscollectief uit Bennekom.

This is a new kid on the block! Wonderfully located near one of the brooks, which flow through the Renkum Valley, nice seating outside, a cozy, farmlike interior. A good base to start walking throught the nature and culture rich area, which surrounds it. In the information center next door you can find all stuff you need to make a pleasant and educative experience!The buffets I have enjoyed here are very good: crispy fresh salads, from the own garden, combined with Mediterranean foodies make a delicious and copious meal. Also the concept behind this business is sympathic and worth a visit!Highly recommended!

When looking for the restaurant I wasnât too happy that it is in a 2nd rate alley richt next to a local coffeeshop. But when inside it was soon forgotten. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. We went for the surprise menu. This menu really had something for Everyone at the table, spicy food, mild food and severall vegetarian dishes. When I am in Arnhem I will for sure return too this restaurant.
