Four of us had an enjoyable dinner here, although a few mixups and slow service. Restaurant is beautiful and the food good. We had tartare (least favorite), two had spare ribs (excellent), one the cod. Dessert was ok, but English translation did not describe it properly so we were surprised... montepulciano red wine was good.

Europeaan food with a great history and Good atmosphere It was a noodhospithal of the English in the second war
After a ceremony at the nearby War Cemetery our party of eleven descended on the Schoonoord. Fortunately I had made a reservation as our visit coincided with the annual remembrance celebrations for the Battle of Arnhem, & the Schoonoord seems to be a popular haunt for participants & visitors in this respect. Consequently the place was extremely busy & the staff stretched in dealing with the substantial number of guests. Service was slow & a bit random, & it took a long time to get the bill. As for the food, it was affordable âpubâ food, nothing to rewrite home about. The Wok dish seemed to be appreciated by those of our party who had it, but the deconstructed ribs were so-so. Verdict; overall, pretty unremarkable.

Struggling to find a nice place to dine for a reasonable price in Arnhem, we ended up here. We were ok with the final outcome. Starter, vitello tonato was very good. Main, lamb stew, was a bit disappointing in overal presentation and composition, though satisfactory in taste. Desert was very much ok. Service is friendly and attentive. Setting a bit like a full service restaurant. Overall score 4-5 out of 5. So make it a 5.

On Friday night we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant of de Buunderkamp. We had a table specially reserved for us (3 couples). We opted for the special 3 course dinner and everything was very tasteful. All of us enjoyed it very much!

We enjoyed a superb three-course dinner at Restaurant de Tijd. The three-course price of 27.50 euros was a bargain, particularly considering the incredible quality of the food we received. All three courses were creatively presented and extremely tasty. We've had some wonderful meals during our six-week European trip that included three weeks in Italy and the meal in Arnhem ranks right up there with our top five. Also, the waitstaff were all very friendly and accommodating. The menu is in Dutch only but the waiter translated every dish and give his recommendations. The dining room is a lovely wood-beamed room - very warm, cosy, and quiet. The little village in the heart of the forest is lovely. We will be returning to the Restaurant de Tijd the next time we come to the Arnhem area, which we hope will be quite soon. What a gem!

I really liked this place. Its located in the coaching house of the 19th century Villa Hartenstein, which now houses the Airborne Museum. I started with the Sea Bass (prepared as a tartar and grilled) followed by the lamb. All prepared in an imaginative way. Style is typical of up-marker restaurants in the Netherlands: French influenced, but with local ingredients. The wine list was interesting and had several tempting options starting at less than 25 Euro per bottle. The serving staff were all young and were both pleasant and excellently trained. I'll certainly go back when I'm in the area.

ROADHOUSE Bar & Kitchen is a blend of an North-American Roadhouse and a South American Steakhouse. We serve Heineken Beers and Organico Coffee. You can drive by for only a drink or have a quick and simple lunch or dinner. But you can also choose to have a
Several outdoor seatings perfect for enjoying a lunch or a beer in the sun. Salmon sandwich were really tasty. A good amount of salmon inside makes the price highly worth it. They also have a good selection of beers, including American favourite Lagunitaâs IPA.Nice roadhouse interiors and lots of seatings inside as well. A highly recommended place to visit.

Was here Saturday with group of friends. Food was really good. I loved the attentive yet relaxed and humorous waiters. They kept up a high level of professionalism whilst not being as stuffy as you sometimes find in other top quality restaurants. The wines to accompany the dinner were good: not always exactly my taste but thatâs why we went for the wine accompaniment- to try something different. We were seated in a lovely cosy but not stuffy room with tasteful deco. Really enjoyed our evening here.
