Breakfast at main restaurant was the usual extensive selection but have had better at other Shangri-La hotels. Lunch was a good selection of foods. The main Chinese restaurant in hotel was average & didn't appear to show-case enough of the local Dalian seafood selection compared to other restaurants in the city, possibly trying to appeal to broader market.

This restaurant is a Brazilian BBQ type of restaurant with an extensive buffet. All meats are brought around to your table at intervals. Portions are bite size. The buffet has traditional Chinese food, fruit, French fries, and salad type things.

The restaurant is very accessible & popular among expats in Dalian. The food variety is excellent with free flow of beer. Price affordable. The concept of grill your own food is much appreciated, plus serving barbecue at table. There is also a buffet.
