Reviewed By Alyssa CWe were stranded in Xichang at the end of Chinese New Year trying to make our way to Chengdu from Shangri La, via Panzhihua. We managed to escape Panzhihua and get one step closer to Chengdu in Xichang, this hostel was a godsend, so comfortable and clean, with great high pressure hot showers, thick sound proof walls, and really kind staff. It was a bit pricey compared to other hostels, but was worth it in the end. Really nice common area, beautifully decorated. Most shops were closed for the holiday so being able to spend time in the common area was great. Helpful staff tried to help us get a car to Chengdu, and dircted us to the lake with clear instructions. Food was okay, noodles were the best. Played an english movie on the common area tv screen one night which was very nice. If you arrive via bus in Xichang, have the address written in chinese for a taxi ride to the hostel (20-30 rmb).

I suggest you have the address (in Chinese) and phone number for the taxi driver upon arrival in Xi Chang. The free Breakfast was good. Great little bar for meeting other travelers. Fine selection of cold beers. The number 17 Bus, (1 RMB) just a short walk from hotel, runs east and west, get's ya wherever you need to go. Very good free WiFi in lobby and rooms and good free computers in lobby. Bikes for rent near-by, 12 hours 50 RMB.

Reviewed By luguwanzijie没有想到在春节期间还能订到如此性价比高的房！！全玻璃房观星空，纯私家湖岸，远离了里格的暄嚣，一家人在此静静发呆聊天做梦散步游戏，交流思想。客栈配套很好，窝在沙发里一天都不想离开。不过老板做饭的水平有待提高呀！听说马上有四川神厨，老板的妈妈亲自来掌勺，呵呵，我没有赶上好时候呀。
