As we cycled past we saw a sign on the kerb, however all their had were toasted sandwiches and bread rolls, beer was good though. Situated on the river Meuse, but right opposite some sort of sand works which is not attractive.

A visit to the city of Venlo without visiting Steyl and then monasteries would be a shame. The monks of monasteries worked all over the world and came back here to recover, heal and study. They tool all kinds of artefacts, stuffed animals and plants. Most of the plants are kept in the beautiful botanic gardens.

Had some awesome meals, and some average. My starter was absolutely divine, the Brunnenkresse suppe, but the main was not quite to my liking. It was the Heilbutt fish. Can only have myself to blame I guess. Coffee complete desert was out of this world again. Service was great and the wines good too. Can not fault them.
