The perfect place to spend a nice evening with friends or your partner. You can eat very particular food, with good wines. The menu often changes, so you can try different food. It is not a tipical dutch menu, but very refined food. The Staff is amazing, they entertain with you, they create a familiar atmosphere, and are very nice!! Price: 40-50⬠per person, but it is absolutely worth it!! We will cane back again. Thank you very much for your comment on Tripadvisor "Feel at home".Greetings Peter and Inge, until next time in our Restaurant

A great place for an excellent dinner! This restaurant is rather hidden and hard to detect but it's worth the go. The food was excellent! Loved all the three dishes. Started with a delicious Carpaccio, a must try Toff-stew, mouthwaterig..the meet was done to perfection and services with side vegetables and fries. For the dessert I chose The White lady which was a perf3ft end to this meal. The food is why I give this place 5 starts. Other than that the place isn't that big so when the restaurant is full, which was in our case, it becomes very noisy. We were seated close to the door so the cold wind would come in sometimes, for me personally it wasn't such a big issue but for others it wasn't that pleasant.I liked this place a lot. They do have english menu wich was a nice suprise. As other reviewers have said it's a bit old fashioned but the food is simply fantastic. Big,Big compliments to the chef!Would love to come again!Be sure to reserve a table! Place is popular!

Culinary creations inspired by journeys. Experience gained in top restaurants. Flavors from afar. Regional products. Beautiful wines. Craftsmanship. Local hospitality with a touch of Canadian charm. Restaurant One is the creation of Limburger Edwin Souman
Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!

The restaurant Die Alde Heerlickheijt is located in the medieval vaulted cellars of the castle. Let the chef and his team take you on a culinary journey of discovery! Choose from the comprehensive menu which offers a wide range of specialities. The chef i
Dinner in a Chateau. Who doesn't want that experience. We had dinner at this hotel/restaurant. We choose the chef menu but decided to have three courses. After the amuse, which was nice, we had the sashimi of tuna. Nice but a little overwhelming with different tastes. After the sashimi we had the trio of beef. A carpaccio, a filet americain and a tartare. Very nice but the sizes were big. After the second course we had the livar (pork) and the cod. The cod was slicly overcooked and the livar dry. Having higher expectations in advance voor the level if the restaurant, we were slightly disappointed. The service was very friendly and always willing to explain the course or the wine.

This is the only hotel in the village of Helden so is not difficult to find. On your approach it appears to be a hotel with character and is definitely not a sleek modern chain hotel. It has its own parking area and a brasserie. The interior is very 'old Dutch' with old heavy furniture and the rooms although clean are a bit basic and tired, however they did have tea/coffee making facilities (rare in Europe) and plentiful clean towels. We had dinner in the brasserie and the food was enjoyed by all in our party of four as was the friendly and courteous service. They have an extensive wine list with some very expensive wines however we were able to find a â¬20 bottle of red which we thoroughly enjoyed (so had a second!) and which was served with some unusual wine glasses, which apparently aid the smelling before drinking process! We had a really pleasant evening and then retired to bed......... We were already aware that our room faced the main road and there was traffic noise, however to be fair this really wasn't a problem by the time we retired. However throughout the night we were disturbed at least three times, by large groups of noisy people passing by the hotel in the early hours (we think there was a nightclub not far away and assumed the noise was from people leaving that). The hotel is old and quaint, the staff were friendly and the brasserie food was excellent as was the Continental breakfast in the morning however I really couldn't recommend staying on a Saturday night unless you can get a room that doesn't face onto the main road!!!

My wife, sister in law and I stopped for lunch here in Baarlo. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful position right on the river Mars and we were lucky enough to have a lovely spring day to sit outside and have s beer and something to eat. I had the burger which was excellent, my wife the croquettes and sister in law a toasted sandwich, all receiving positive comments. It was a bit busy so service was a touch slow, but like the river, we werenât in any hurry.

We are risotto with salmon and broccoli and spagetti with carlic and herbs. Very good quality, not to heavy. Nice starters mushroom bouillon and mushroom with goat heese. Dragondessert because Beesel is a dragonvillage. Service is good. You need to have the time because diner is not served very fast, but the quality makes it worth waiting.
