China Restaurant Kanton

Reviewed By PrincePolo

The restaurant offers an unbeatable value for money with their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet (Monday through Saturday) for €7.80. On Sundays and evenings the price goes up to €14.80 as a Mongolian grill is also offered. Drinks are extra. Food is relatively good (for buffet standards) and fresh. There are several choices, some not exactly Chinese (e.g. potato croquettes). There is also a limited selection of deserts and ice cream. The restaurant seems to attract lots of families with children and elderly. The place is quite spacious. The interior’s colour scheme is rather peculiar but not an eye shore. It is very well maintained and clean.

Japan Haus Sushi & Grill

ok, this place is LEGIT GOOD SUSHI. i am in no way a sushi snob, but i've had a lot of exposure to sushi so i'd like to think i can make these judgements...and i was definitely not expecting to find such a place around the corner from a Baroque palace, but hey! life can be fun like that.the AYCE deal is really, really, really what you should have -- especially if you come during lunchtime prices. here's how it works: you get an iPad with a surprisingly easy interface. you can order up to 20 items for your table every 15 minutes. i highly recommend ordering 20 because whether you order 1 or 20 items, that 15-minute timer kicks in. so go ahead and tell your annoying brother to hurry up and make up his mind.the service is friendly and they will try to accommodate English speakers. however, with the iPad ordering, language is not an issue. the menu is incredibly extensive, and the ingredients are quality. the fish is really good -- order lots of it! and everything is made to order, so you're not getting some crap sushi that's been sitting around waiting for a victim. everything is super fresh.and yes, even desserts are included in the AYCE deal so everyone -- even your annoying brother -- will be happy!

After an entire day in Phantasialand park, we ended our trip with a buffet dinner at the Bamboo restaurant in the Asia themed hotel. The pricetag is a little steep but still affordable, especially for the choice of food that is offered. The buffet offers a big range of cold Asian specialities as well as lots of warm dishes. The chef makes any wok with your desired ingredients on request. Then end with some sweets from the dessert buffet. Don't forget to sneak in the children's buffet for some candy or candyfloss ;) All food is great and well prepared, although nothing very special or exclusive. The personnel is very friendly and professional. Seating can be chosen inside and outside depending on availability and the weather. On a summer evening, it's great to sit outside with sights over the hotel's garden.
