Reviewed By Freewolf297Loved the view of the Rhein river from my room. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. One warning is their is no air conditioning. I was there for a couple of nights and one night it was very warm in the room even with an open window. The breakfast was good and the bar prices were very reasonable. I had a bier both nights in the bar. I will stay here again but not when the temperature is above 85 degrees F.

Reviewed By richardjvmVery bad I posted a bad and honest review on booking.com the owner stole 1000 euros form my credit card for doing so. Make your own mind up whether you really want to stay here. Police, Mastercard and Booking.com have been informed. Stayed 20/8/2018 and charged 65 euro I was 1200 kms away from Cologne in Croatia when 1000 Euro was taken from my credit card. A warning to all if you are asked for card details when making a booking for a hotel, use a prepayment card and only put on it what you can afford to lose.

Going above and beyond in the Covid Crisis
Reviewed By bonkersmoronicoWe travelled for business as we had a project to complete at the Shell oil refinery near by. The hotel is traditional whilst being fully functional and had everything we needed. The internet is wifi and is free. I used their free internet to work from the room and to watch tv on my laptop and it never failed or buffered once. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was superb - a great refreshing powerfulwarm shower. Their is tv in the room but of course its mostly in German except one english bbc news channel so I just used the free internet to watch my own device. The parking is off road and free. Breakfast was handled in a totally profesional manner in these times of covid, it can`t be easy for the staff to have to deal with these restrictions. Nearby you have restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways . Its close to travel links with a bustop and the autobahn very close by. If I revisit the area I would definitely stay here again. Check in after hours was a very simple process with all instructions being shared with us once we informed them of our arrival times. Just what we needed to enable us to get on with our project and concentrate on the task without having to worry about the hotel at all. If you need anything just ask the staff and they were able to help always. All requests were carried out in our own language of english with no issues. In short thankyou for your help. PS don`t believe some of the reviews they must be either out of date or written by simpletons.
