We went on the 2 hour ride with Nikolas picking us up from our hotel and driving us to the stables. There was another couple there and it took an hour to give us our beginners lesson and get us up on our horses and away. The horses followed him brilliantly and we headed off in single file for a gentle 2 hour walk. Halfway through he offered us the chance to go back if we were tired or uncomfortable but we were having too much fun. It cost us 38 euros each which included collection and Delivery back to our apartment, the 2 hour ride and a bottle of water. He was strict but fun and we had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful beach with shallow, clear waters. Fantastic for all ages.. we visited close to the end of the season and a lot of the bars and restaurants were letting you use the sunbeds for free.... This was ideal as we were a large family and could get drinks and snacks easily from the bars... Beautiful sand and very safe for the whole family.

Best bar in stalis! Best cocktails and measures by far, lovely staff very welcoming! The barman giavanni amazing! If he doesn't have something you want the next day he has it, nothing is too much trouble. Overlooks the beautiful beach and has big comfy chairs, will be spending most of our time here, look forward to another visit tonight

Ended up here most nights for a few too many drinks,fantastic atmosphere,great laughs,never had an empty glass as zara was always checking we were having a good time.
THE place to go where you can relax and unwind knowing your kids are safe and having fun too

Went here to watch the Northern Ireland v Ukraine game and had a great wee night . The staff are very friendly and the service was great .. The pub is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and is clean and tidy . The free shots the staff gave us because Northern Ireland won were much appreciated The pub looks out onto the beach and we will definetly call in again the next time we are in stalis ..

Very good horses, clean. The instructor is very good, and the route is very nice - you go through a beach and ride through the forest. It leaves you with the feeling that you want more.

I visited R Bar 3 times during my two week stay in Malia - twice on my way back from Dwyers late afternoon, and one evening.
Its a great bar, with a pool table, dart board, several screens with lots of different sports channels available, and I understand now a playstation for customers.
I ate there a couple of times - a lovely bacon sarnie one day, and cheeseburger another time. The food was excellent (proper English Bacon and cooked dead dead crispy - yum), and reasonably priced, as were the drinks.
Dont usually bother with shots much, but i was tempted by a Cherry Bakewell shot from their shots menu. It was that good (and tasted just like the cake) that i had to have a second one!
Justin and Sheila who own the place are a lovely couple, and made me feel very welcome, as did Barbara who worked there and made my delicious food.
For anyone wanting more info / pics there is a Facebook page you can like for R Bar with all that stuff.
Would definitely recommend this bar to anyone staying in either Stalis or Malia. I'll definitely go back there next time I'm in Malia.

We were offered a deal which included the 20 minute fish spa, a reflexology massage and the salt spa. It was very relaxing and the staff were friendly. A great spa, I would recommend!

Great place owner also owns red lion next door friendly staff great food more than u can eat breakfast at good prices .Sunday roasts well worth the price . Bingo every night and quizz billy and yannis are always there to help . They have now got a mobility scooter great for getting around
