Potchefstroom is an academic city in the North-West Province of South Africa. It hosts the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University. It is situated on the banks of the Mooi Rivier (Afrikaans for "pretty (or beautiful) river"), roughly 120 km (75 mi) west-southwest of Johannesburg and 45 km (28 mi) east-northeast of Klerksdorp. Potchefstroom, together with Rustenburg, is the second largest city in the North-West Province. The largest city, Klerksdorp, is situated about 45 km from the town.

Three friends and I enjoyed a lovely morning of pampering at the spa. The therapists were so professional and friendly. The atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. I will definitely come back to be spoiled again. Good value for your money.

This place totally surprised us, a little gem in the heart of the NW. I have frequented many boutique hotels worldwide and this is definitely one of the better ones. We stayed in room #9 and were pleasantly surprised by the beautifully well appointed and spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom. The restaurant was quaint but most welcomely, tasty food and excellent service from the local hotel school students. I need to add that the restaurant even served the delicious and famous Australian fish...Baramundi. Highly recommended and worth every penny, we will most definitely stay here on my next Potch trip.
