Took my 10yr old daughter to this park and she loved every minute of it. Sonya her instructor was so attentive and caring and really helped my daughter feel at ease as she had never done it before, she was ziplining through the forest, climbing trees, running through nets and walking over wobbly planks and she had such a fun time. The staff are so lovely and attentive and she was allowed to go round the course as many times as she wished. Really reasonably priced activity and such a fun way for kids ( and adults) to get back to nature in this beautiful place. We would definitely return.

A huge beach to the east of Albufeira. Beautiful colours in the cliff. Wide sandy beach. Good wooden staircase down to the beach. Not a lot of parking considering the size of the beach. The small cafe at the stairs has decent washrooms.

Praia do Barranco das Belharucas

We walked to this beach from Vilamoura early one morning. Wonderful views, peaceful beach. Not that many spots to stop for a drink along the way so make sure you take plenty of water along. Stopped here for a drink and a bite to eat. Sat in the beach bar, Golfinho, looking out to sea and didn't want to move. If you are walking back to Vilamoura too the tide comes in and the beach is a little sloped and harder to walk along on the way back.

lovely safe little beach in olhosa d'agua, sandy clean, we visited in Feb so didn't go in for a dip but the water looked as if it was a shallow walk in cafe's restaurants close by public w/c on the front which makes a change from some locations, this beach will be hopping in mid summer no doubt, but it is beautiful.

My husband and I visited Friends Bar during our stay in Olhos de Agua. I highly recommend a stop to this bar if you are anywhere in the area. Fantastic atmosphere, amazing cocktails and lovely host! Definitely a highlight and only wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip! Stop by and say hi to Lisa -- you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely awesome!
Everything!
And please let me tell you that I am a difficult customer so tried to find faults.
It was absolutely impossible.
It is like heaven: hotel, restaurant, environment ( even weather with some clouds or rain).
The most relaxing spa-superb massages.
I enjoyed tremendously all my fitness sessions- the 3 young instructors Andre, Pedro and Freddy were extremely knowledgeable and professional.
The most original Yoga which I have never missed.
Everyone there tried to make you feel in heaven. And you know what? They succeeded.
Go, you will not be sorry.

Olheiros de Agua Doce

The name "Olhos d'Agua" is derived from various underwater Freshwater Springs that flow into the sea, along the beach, the sand and rocks. Only visible when it is low tide. These famous "olheiros" gave the town its name. A phenomenon of rare beauty and a major tourist attraction. Here settled Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Romans, who practiced fishing and developed salting and drying of fish. It is a tradition go to olheiros and taste the water.

We have stayed in olhos de agua a couple of times. It's a quiet area the beach is very pretty with its fishing boats. Out of season the views are unspoiled by sun beds and umbrellas. There are an increasing number of good restaurants on the way up to the square. It's only a short walk to falesia beach. We like the area and don't mind walking, it may be a bit too quiet for younger people, it seems to be expanding we hope it can maintain its charm and character

Recently had a few days in Portugal and found James Holiday Services online. The service received was excellent. The booking was simple, I did it via their Facebook page.
They were waiting in the airport when we arrived. The vehicles were spacious and comfortable, they even provided a baby seat for my young son.
Not masses I can say apart from I recommend this company and would book again without a doubt :-)

Pine Cliffs Resort Golf Course

This is one of the country’s most original golf courses, built in a pinewood setting, with tree lined fairways running parallel along the Atlantic Ocean, giving it's guests breathtaking views along the Algarvian coastline. Architect Martin Hawtree’s main concern was to keep the natural surroundings as it was before the course was built.

Our son's played whilst my husband and I chilled at the clubhouse. We were very unhappy that our son's were grilled whilst out on the course regarding their receipt and tee time. We had been advised by the guy taking the ticket they could go straight on the course as it wasn't busy.
My husband and I found the clubhouse to be unfriendly too and we were unable to use the wifi as we weren't staying on the resort.. their website clearly stated that outside guests could use wifi and needed to request a code from staff !
