I visited the Spa situated in Muldersdrift a easy drive from Johannesburg and surrounds. It is situated next to a river with abundant birdlife. As you walk down towards the entrance it gives you a feeling of calm with low impact on nature building and design. The staff are friendly and helpful. My 3 hour treatment was relaxing and the therapist professional and exceptionally efficient. They offer regular special offers and this venue is ideal for couples. A definite A+ star rated facility. Meals are offered on site.

Cradle Moon

Recently completed the green route hiking trail at cradle moon. The trail is well marked and follows a circular route around cradle lake. With the exception of a few meters of very narrow and steep paths, the trail is not extremely challenging or difficult. Other activities include mountain biking / canoeing / fishing. Tip - when completing the green route hike always keep to the left as a large part of the trail intertwines with the trails used by mountain bikers. The best pictures can be taken at the end of the trail by the cradle dam wall. The R50 entrance fee is money we’ll spent.

Happy Island

What a wow!!! I had my child's birthday at Happy Island on the 30th March 2019 and we were hosted by Cedric. He is an excellent host and he really made us feel at home. We could ask him for anything (from ordering food to bringing us a knife to cut the birthday cake) he never had any issues. He made sure we had everything we wanted. We were treated like royals. We will definitely come back to Happy Island it's the best place in South Africa. The kids can't stop talking about my daughter's party - they had so much fun. The nicest thing is that they could swim and enjoy the water slides the whole day. The sea waves were more fascinating for them than anything in the world. Keep up the good work Cedric you are an absolute STAR!!!

Happy Island Water World

Reviewed By TheTourist360Degrees - Krugersdorp, South Africa

At first I thought It was a lie, that there is never a place like that in Mogale City. I had to pack my travelling bag and hit the road to prove myself. My mind was blown away by the beauty of the place. I mean the way they built the place is like a dream. The island is indeed a treasure within the borders of Mogale City. What I love about the destination is the fact that it is within the Cradle of Humankind, then this makes the whole tour complete, as this can be a last stop of the tour if started at Maropeng, proceed to Sterkfontein Caves, then head to Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve then lastly to Happy Island Waterworld. When I was approached to be their WOM (Word Of Mouth) I could not believe it, I then started right away. Mobilizing for them. Since then the place became my home . I fully recommend the place for friends and family. I mean the place has a room for everything and can accommodate anyone. Great environment, food, beautiful view I mean it is worth been added to the bucket loist of travellers.
