Dwarka ( pronunciation (help·info)) is an ancient city and a municipality of Devbhoomi Dwarka district in the state of Gujarat in northwestern India. It is located on the western shore of the Okhamandal Peninsula on the right bank of the Gomti River. In 2011 it had a population of 38,873. Dwarka is one of the foremost Chardhams, four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, and is one of the Sapta Puri, the seven most ancient religious cities in the country. Dwarka is often identified with the Dwarka Kingdom, the ancient kingdom of Krishna, and is believed to have been the first capital of Gujarat.

It’s a hindu dham.
Luckily during my visit, there was no rush at all. We could able to complete darshan in 15 minutes.
Once you reach outside temple, you have to deposit your mobile and luggage. Only gents wallets and small ladies purse is allowed. You can carry child food / child water in small plastic bag.
So you have to deposit your mobiles to normal locker (for free). Different locker for luggage (its free too). You will find a place to keep your shoes and next to it.
Word of causation, outside temple you will find lots of street cows and bulls and they may push you. So keep yourself safe and trick to get them away if throw some water on them. After that queue starts and takes you inside temple.
Separate queue men and women. Once done with darshan you can do a praikrama and visit other temples in same premises. You can do mukh darshan without going in line. Lots of push while sending in the queue. Take care of small kids and elderly people.
Keep the temple clean and do not push / rush in queues.

We reached here in the evening, the environs were awesome that day, the temple itself appeared to be fantastic and inviting..it is well maintained and we got enough time to complete the "darshan", strange thing was sellers who sell pooja material were inside the temple itself and nearby the "darshan" queue, though they do not force you to buy anything but is feels strange that they are inside the temple itself, on the outside there was a small temple with the entire lord Shiva and goddess Parvati family. The enormous lord Shiva statue is captivating and it is well built, similar to lord Shiva temple in Shivgiri Karnataka..overall it was a great experience.

Used to the difficult and exclusive locations of most Jyotirling's,this place is so much accessible and some 20 kms from famous Dwarikadhish temple,has been a taken as a casual visit.
Well connected by road and has all basic faclities,the devotees visit to pay their respects and seek blessings.
Spend some half an hour and form here you can either return to dwarka or visit Gopi Talav and Rukmani Temple.

Unfortunately, we didnt know this area was so good.We didnt plan for much time here. Actually, you should plan to come in morning/ evening and spend one or two hours here. It is very soothing experience here. By the side of the setu, you can do camel ride as well.

This temple of lord Shiva known as Bhadrakeswar is worthy of visit for viewing a lifetime sunset into the Arabian sea.The temple is otherwise too simple to visit.It is said in July-August, the temple goes beneath the sea during high tide and comes out of the sea during lowtide.Thus morning abhishekha of Lord shiva is done by the sea itself.

Located behind the shri dwarka temple, you have to take a ticket₹10 thru the bridge where you can visit the temple. Then outside the are wells which are dedicated to old famous saints n one for panch pandavas believed that this was dug for water to quich thirst. There is a Shiva Linda to here. the whole place is serene n you can take a walk around. At it best by you will find a gao shala, a baba has dedicated his life to maintain about 50 cows n directs his entire alms in maintaining these cows. Ofcourse the baba means everything to the cows. This was demonstrated by a cow when i was there. See if you can make some contribution for the poor cows who have only this baba to look after n this baba have some generous tourist whom he can rely on. You can spend some time with the cows which are harmless. The little one is in a room n the mother is let for her to feed on. No milk is taken for sale. Take a walk around the shrimati gomati from the other side careful before u decide to dip as it could prove dangerous without local knowledge. Lastly, respect the environment n be a responsible traveler. Don't litter.

The temple is dedicated to Swami Narayan who is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Idols of other Hindu Goddesses and Gods were also seen in the temple. The temple is constructed in the modern times. The architecture is marvelous. It is well built which some idols made in pure marble. The temple is located close to Bhadkeshwar Mahadev temple.

This is a beautiful temple in pure white. It's constructed by the Birla group which has Birla Mandir in major cities of India. This temple preaches the teachings of Bhagwad Gita. There is an idol of Lord Krishna in the temple. Quotes from Gita are portrayed. The temple is located at a scenic place where rivers meet.
