It is 12,6km to walk one round but you do not walk always with sea view. There are some private, non-accesible properties who do not allow walking at the water. It is good for walking, running or just enjoying some relaxing moments.

This is a wonderful area to visit, especially in spring when the thousands of rhododendrons are in bloom. In the charming town, we ate at Dinnerdiele In der Horst 13 and had a wonderful lunch with very fresh assorted herring dishes, fried potatoes and salad for a very reasonable price!.

It is a nice place to walk around, crowded on weekends during summer. There are many Cafés around. Boat-trips around the sea are available and highly recommended from spring to autumn.

During our first campingholiday we visited this one. It is midst in a park, has a free entrance, and it lies next to a stunning lake. What more does one want? It can be noticed that this is a typical Niedersachsen outlook. One can roam around and enjoy the scenary. Have a drink on deck of one of the idyllic next-to the-lake restaurants.

The Ammerland lies not far from Bremen. Up to today here live people, who are taking care of their own specific language, the ammerlandic Platt. Besides that there are even broader "typical" features of this area. One has to come and see or experience their hospitality. It`s quite worthwile to pay them a visit.
I recommend visiting to each traveller of this norther part of Germany dont miss this wonderful garden. You`ll be surprised of the variety of Rhododendron, of the specific scills of the Bruns family and their staff for cultivation of plants and trees There are many, many suggestions for the design of the garden of one's own to be looked at and they offer really kind know-how advisers!

This church dates from about 1200, and my family has been attending it since they arrived in the area in 1680, so I am a bit biased. If you want to see a very old Lutheran church that is still in use today, be sure to walk around the exterior and visit the interior, too. Very picturesque!

Der Turm ist von innen nicht so schön anzusehen und teilweise hat man Angst, dass die Treppe unter einem zusammenbricht, aber die tolle Aussicht macht alles wieder gut. Man kann sehr weit gucken und gut die Segelschiffe auf dem Meer beobachten.

After having a nice diner at the restaurant from the connected hotel we went here to try and earn some money. It's not so big and has a nice bar as well, smokers and non smokers section.

Обязательно рекомендую заглянуть сюда туристу. Дом-музей имеет богатую коллекцию быта и жизни людей, некогда населявших эти места.
Меня трогало все: и сами старинные предметы, и то, с какой любовью они собраны и сохранены.
Музей дает очень широкое представление о многих областях жизни, экспозиция разнообразна, все экспонаты в отличном состоянии.
После посещения музея в своем блоге я оставила много фото-загадок, которые так и не смогли отгадать мои читатели.
Сходите обязательно и вы, если посетите эти места. Музей небольшой, но в нем столько интересного, что вам надолго хватит впечатлений и воспоминаний.
