we had a perfect lunch, starting with surprising appetizers served in a very original way. All dishes are little paintings: the clam carpaccio, the succulent beef, the range of après desserts, .... Nice winelist, though very french. The setting is very original, the tables very special.

On our little city trip we came here on recommendation. We indulged in the immediate warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The communication between the chef and his clients went so smoothly ..he seemed already to guess which would be the perfect wine or bubbly for the individual taste and the food: just heaven. Small place, small card, just perfect!! We definitely come back!

Dining at Minerva is not only enjoying excellent prepared food. The setting and the service make you relax and enjoy your meal.
The cuisine is very classic French-Belgian style. Everything is perfectly prepared. The service is "old school" highest level. The new generations of waiters should come and see how it should be done.
Very nice wine menu. Most wines are pricey, but you can find interesting wines at affordable prices.

Absolutely delicious, savoury and juicy meat of highest quality. Super fresh salads that bring back recollection of how "real" vegetables taste like (forget here the usual out-of-the-plastic-sack experience)! Most charming and welcoming lady who runs the place, delivers the dishes and is taking care of everyone with such a grace! Top evening and top place! Highly recommendable and by far my favourite restaurant in Antwerp!

Friday the thirteenth in December 2013 Billie's Beer Kafetaria opened the doors. The original name was still just "the Kafetaria. " Billie's Beer Kafetaria is part of a dying breed of genuine, old-fashioned brown cafes. Billie's Kafetaria Beer is not just a bar but a decent tasting room where the bierologische (zytologische) enthusiasm is propagated to the many domestic and foreign guests. We have made a selection of some 60 major new Belgian and local beers. Besides, we constantly monitor five foreign brewers. All our beers were expertly chosen to suit every taste. Each beer in stock or in the basement have is not always possible because some beers only in certain periods or in limited quantities brewed be why we have multiple suppliers and also try as much beer spot to get it. Good, knowledgeable service. More than a hundred beers, most of them Belgian. Great beer-bar in the centre of Antwerp, near Groene Plaats. Playing old pop music, which was fun. There is quite a bit of Seating upstairs. Eleven keg taps, some Belgian. Also offers imported bottled/canned beers from UK, USA and around Europe(?), with prices in the €9-12 range. I chose a Belgian-made North-American-style IPA, which was tangy, hoppy and good, €5.70. Iffy WiFi some days. Wish they opened earlier than 4 pm weekdays, like 12 noon. Next visit I had a southern Belgian Tripel and took away bottles of two hoppy Belgian ale. Knowledgeable staff. I know Billie the French Bulldog is a feature (and the name) of the beerhouse, but there should not be any Barking at customers!
