visited Capital Karts for the first time, found the staff helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the session so much had to have another go !! Can see this being one of our favourite venues, plus I just have to get a quicker time than my son.... convinced him he is only quicker due to weight speed ratio !! Looking forward to our next visit, certainly worth the travelling. Can't recommend highly enough.. though could have done with a slightly larger pair of overalls.... but this big fella not going to worry about that ! See you again soon ....

We visited here having looked on the National Trust website. Wow, what a find. This is a beautifully restored house, with good attentive staff and a lovely cafe. It's bang in the middle of a council estate and you would never drive down the road and expect to see this. A lovely place to visit.

St. Margaret of Antioch, Barking

St Margaret of Antioch is a lively parish church in the heart of Barking. The area has a rich history. The great Barking Abbey dating from 666AD, established Barking as an early centre of the Christian faith. After William the Conqueror's coronation, a large scale riot forced the king and his closest followers to flee to Barking, making it the first Norman capital of England - albeit for a few months. The fishing industry grew with the town, making Barking home to one of the most important fishing fleets in the country. St Margaret's itself dates from 1215 and is noted for the marriage of Captain James Cook on 21st December 1762 and the burial place of Sir Crisp Gascoyne, Mayor of the City of London. Short guided tours can be arranged through the parish office. Why not top off your visit with a warm drink and a slice of cake in the Refectory? We are a short walk from Barking Station, which can be reached via the London Underground's District and Hammersmith & City Lines, the London Overground and the C2C.

Very friendly, Good Sermons good music which comes up on a big screen. The vicar is very approachable and has a sense of humour as well as the more serious side of worship and praise. In the music they had a guitar, drums and piano. Traditional hymns and more modern ones were sung. They are celebrating 75years anniversary next Sunday with an after service lunch this should be really something , Well worth a visit
